Very short drive to the city, but you enjoy a wide balcony with staggering view and nice cool breeze. The room was very large, and well designed. with lots of windows that can be opened, yet with mosquito nets. Bed was exceptionally comfortable, as well as the bathroom and all other amenities in room. Sparkling clean. The property is beautiful. The staff very nice and tried very hard to make it pleasant stay. Good breakfast. Excellent WIFI. Highly recommend it !!!

In all the years living in Greece the hospitality was outstanding.. breakfast was more than enough the owners fell over backwards to please you...I would give this place a ten star it it would let me... We are to rebook definitely... Thank you all for our wonderful stay...Mike & Beth....
C	Chris C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an excellent experience at the Arktos hotel exploring the local sites. We originally were not planning to go to Ioannina but are so happy we did. First, the family that runs this hotel are so kind and amiable and really care about making your stay a positive one. The views from the hotel are simply superb. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to drive from town to the hotel along a windy mountain road, but the views and isolation away from the city are worth it. Also, the hotel is very comfortable and very well designed. We found the furnishing and design of the rooms to be fantastic. Moreover, there is an excellent cafe and restaurant nearby the hotel to enjoy a drink and an excellent view, which is only a 1 minute drive away. If you are hesitant about travelling to Ioannina, I would strongly suggest a 2 night visit to see the local sites and enjoy this hotel along the mountain side of the lake. You will not be disappointed.

The hotel was of a high quality, with the wiew from the lake , like the fairytale. Clean hotel, contemporary rooms, quality hotel and well-kept in detail. We spent a wonderful weekend and super quiet.❤

The view is breathtaking, the decor is as baroque as a heroic village like Liggiades can offer, the rooms very clean and even the mattresses shout comfort! Mr Antonis and Mrs Cassiani made us feel like home and gave us excellent recommendations. There are a lot of things to see in Ioannina, but honestly we just wanted to sit at the lovely living room area, appreciate the lovely view and drink mountain tea! We are definitely coming back!

The hotel is in a very nice location (trust the signs by the road in the last part, not navigation), the hotel itself is clean and has specious rooms, lovely owners who really made us feel welcome and a good breakfast. We would recommend staying here if you visit Ioaninna and surroundings!
