Arota Exclusive Villas - Akrotiri

BE CAREFUL Our reservation was cancelled 3 weeks before our arrival. Being Santorini a very busy destination throughout the year, we had a rough time to book an alternative ... We were told the villas were not finished, although booking was still available for the exact same dates!! upon our arrival at Santorini we decided to visit the place. Not only the villas were ready but also fully functional! We even spoke to a maid who told us that the Villas opened last week... Avoid this place! not worth the risk of having your booking cancelled and your vacantions runnied!

The greatest view of Santorini! The property provides value for money services. The heated private pool with jacuzzi option, takes your breath. The design of the villa is made with great taste. i definately recommend this place.

We booked this resort only to have them cancel our reservation 1 week before our planned arrival. This left us scrambling to find another resort and had to pay top dollar for a last minute reservation. I called multiple times and emailed to try to find out why they would cancel, but I couldn’t get an honest answer. I would stay away from this resort.

SCAM! BOOK YOUR VACATION ELSEWHERE If it was possible to give ZERO stars I definitely would... We had a reservation (booked 3 months in advance) which was cancelled a few weeks before our arrival, without plausible reasoning. One of the motives was the fact that the road to access the villas was not finished and was completely inaccessible. Two weeks later, we arrived at Santorini and decided to have a look. As you can see (photo attached) this was a lie. I recommend you to avoid this place! There are a LOT of amazing spots in Santorini, which are reliable and guarantee your reservation.

SIMPLY TO AVOID Have you seen the wonderful photos of this property? The super new and comfortable villas, the amazing caldera views and the infinity pools? Everything ready for a dream vacation, right? Well, not so fast! We booked a 2 bedroom villa for 3 nights in june and we were really looking forward to arriving at this beautiful place. Approximately 3 weeks before our reservation, we received an email stating that the property would not be ready on time. They told us, and I quote, “Our sincerest apologies for the late reply but we have some technical issues because of the Municipality of Santorini and we’ve been excruciatingly busy trying to fix them. We writing to you, in order to apologies for that issue. Our brand new Hotel, due to certain Technical Difficulties that fall out of our hands to fix, will not be opening on the 1st of June. As much as we have tried to make the impossible possible we haven’t been able to make them fix the issues that have arisen in due time and have actually started a litigation against them. We have been trying until the last minute with our best efforts to make them fix the road on time but to no avail. What they actually did was that, the not good weather thought the winter, along with delays in delivery of many items, made us to harry up in creating everything, and that as a result of a major technical issue in our pipelines and electricity supply, having no time to deal with these technical difficulties on time and be ready for our opening. . .” We found it odd that the dates were still available to book through their website and other third party booking sites. Today, while in Santorini, we decided to head towards Arota Exclusive Villas to understand exactly what was happening. The roads are ready and can accommodate cars from either side. The property is open and fully functional. We talked to a maid and she confirmed that it had opened last week... It is just unbelievable how they lied to our faces! Just avoid this place or you might get your vacation ruined!

Beautiful place, the villa is well equipped and stunning ! The view is breathtaking, this is really a luxury massive villa with a very high standard and privacy. The villa manager was so nice and helpful and was looking after all our needs. The area itself is very convenient close to Fira and from the best beaches in the island. The housekeeping was very well done and upon our request. Heated pool was stunning and the two Jaccuzi incredible. The only weakness is the wind, more present than the rest of the island. We would come back for sure !

We had the luck to stay at this beautiful place for three nights and we are still amazed. Such a peaceful, calm and private place! We had the first Villa with the infinity pool and the view was breathtaking. We had sun for the whole day and a great sunset view at the evening. We can highly recommend this place.

The villa was spacious, clean and beautifully designed. You have to make breakfast yourself with the ingredients left for you in the kitchen which are replenished everyday. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Pavlos was extremely good at what he does, he explained everything clearly and showed us all around the villa and answered all our questions. He was always available by phone to answer any questions and to help when needed. The views from the villa were absolutely stunning. We had our own private sunset view. I highly recommend this place. Excellent value for your money.
