S	Stefano Casu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to enjoy the most spectacular view of the caldera, forget the overcrowded and touristic hotels in Fira and Oia: Blu Rooms is your place! For a really reasonable price we had a very nice and very clean room with balcony and a breathtaking view. At sunset we enjoyed the swimming pool right on the cliff. No crowds here, there were just us, two other couples and the hawks flying over our heads. The hotel is run by a very nice family, the breakfast is very good and served on a beautiful terrace. The hotel has private parking and is near a village with market and good restaurants. In 5 minutes by car you can reach the excavations of Akrotiri, and Fira is just 15/20 away.

Exceptional behavior from the owners and immediately you feel more than welcome.. minor complain only about the quantity of the served breakfast. (yet there is unlimited milk and yogurt with cereals available.)

The room was kind of basic, but clean and the bed was very comfortable. As a bonus there was a swimming pool at about 2 min walk from the hotel and terrific sunsets. The area where the hotel is located is not touristy, a car is necessary to get around and to the main attractions of the island.

D	D M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are fine, the view is great - but, as a woman, I expect at least A LITTLE BIT HELP with the luggage when moving heavy bags to my room. If not from the service point of view, than at least from the gentlemen perspective. It's very poor when a guest coming from a long journey gets no help whatsoever with bags and gets only a smile when asking for it.
