★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hilendar's harbor is not among the most impressive of Mount Athos. From there you can reach the Hilendar Monastery or the Sacred Spiridon. The road to the Hilendar road is not so small. This is the first stop on the ferry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From this ferry stop, you can reach Moni Chilandariou (Хилендарския манастир), as we did. The way is approx. 2.5 - 3 km and tooks about 30 - 40 min at least. After stop in Chilandar,, we used a nice, almost flat forest trail to reach Moni Zografou (Зографския манастир) where our night stay was planned. There are direction signs, so you cannot loose the way.
