Η Μονή Σίμωνος Πέτρας, λεγόμενη και Σιμωνόπετρα είναι 13η στην ιεραρχία των μονών του Αγίου Όρους. Είναι ένα επταώροφο οικοδόμημα, σε ένα μυτερό γρανιτένιο βράχο ύψους 300 μέτρων.
Ο αρσανάς της μονής βρίσκεται στην παραλία στο μέσο του ανοίγματος της χαράδρας που κατεβαίνει από το μοναστήρι προς τη θάλασσα.
Ο πύργος του αρσανά είναι τετραώροφος και χτίσθηκε το 1567.
The Tower at Arsana of the Simon Petros Monastery is one of the best preserved towers of the 16th century on Mount Athos without undergoing more radical reforms.
Simonos Petras Monastery, also called Simonopetra, is 13th in the hierarchy of the monasteries of Mount Athos. It is a seven-storey building, on a pointed granite rock 300 meters high.
The monastery's lodge is located on the beach in the middle of the opening of the ravine that descends from the monastery to the sea.
The tower of Arsana is a four-storey building built in 1567.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο αρσανας που σε οδηγεί στα ουράνια, μια ματιά προς τα πάνω και θα καταλάβεις. Από μισή μέχρι μια ώρα πεζοπορία σε οδηγεί προς τα εκεί, δηλαδή στην ιερά Μονή Σίμωνος Πέτρας, μόνο ανηφορια και δύσκολη. Στα μισά περίπου φεύγει προς τα δεξιά και το μονοπάτι για την ιερά Μονή Γρηγορίου. Συνήθως στον συγκεκριμένο αρσανα δεν κατεβαίνουν πολλοί, οι περισσό τεροι προτιμούν να πάνε οδικώς από τη Δάφνη προς Σιμωνοπετρα, αλλά το μονοπάτι είναι ΜΟΝΟΠΆΤΙ.
