★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1618 yılında ikinci Akropolis’teki eski Prodromos Manastırı’nın sahasında Yanya Sancağı'nın idarecisi Zülfikar Bey’in oğlu Arslan Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır.
It was built in 1618 by Arslan Pasha, son of Zülfikar Bey, the administrator of the Sanjak Sanj, at the site of the former Prodromos Monastery in the second Acropolis. In fact, it was built as the most important complex of all Western Greece.
In this complex, there was a domed mosque, a large madrasa, a poverty for passengers and the poor, a tomb, as well as a large double baths on and off the Second Acropolis.
All these structures are examples of what has survived in this part of Greece to the present day. The mosque has been beautifully restored and serves as a museum today.
There is information about Arslan Pasha in the inscription of the four marble columns that hold the inner porches of the mosque.
On this occasion, I would like to thank the Greek Authorities who have restored the mosque and kept it alive until today, and I commemorate my ancestor with mercy.
