The hotel is very pleasant to look at, the rooms are spacious and nice and the pool and surrounding area are very pretty with an amazing view. The breakfast was served due to Corona but there was enough choice. The personnel is friendly and creates a familiar atmosphere. The hotel is located nicely and with the shuttle, Skala is within easy reach. The hotel also dealt incredibly well with the storm that hit Kefalonia. Two points to improve: the mattresses are incredibly uncomfortable (probably the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on) and the rooms were not vaccum cleaned before wiping the floor wet which meant all the dirt and hair stuck to the floor. Overall a very nice stay and highly recommendable.

I totally recommend Asteris hotel! The location is great, 2 minutes by car from Skala sandy beach! The sea view from the hotel is amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The rooms are comfortable and clean! The breakfast has really good quality and it was served outside near the pool! I found in this hotel the authentic Greek hospitality!

Very nice hotel, Children are well received, The service people are very nice. The rooms are old, we took a 2-room apartment, the master bedroom door does not close, the shower room hose with tartar, and sometimes the cleaner does not come to clean the room and change towels. But the view from the room is beautiful We took breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was nice. Dinner was served in the restaurant, every day a different menu, which is nice, the waiter is very nice and gives great service, but the food really is not tasty !! It's better to go down to Skala and eat there in the restaurant.

The place and people who worked there were really lovely. Our room was less than one month old and was immaculate. Large new bed, great quiet air-con and a great view of the coast. Free mini bus into the main part of the resort in the evenings and only €6 back in a taxi. Loved the hotel, loved the resort. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic place, family run. The staff are great and everyone is helpful and friendly. Been here before years ago, but it still fells the same although they place has been developed since we were last here. Would highly recommend ? it for a break. And the view into Skala is Fantastic!

There are not enough words to describe how lovely everything and everyone was. We were the group to close summer season this year and we were definitely not expecting our time to be so good. We booked for 3 days and we will definitely come back as soon as time allows us. Everything is clean, the food and drinks wonderful, if the weather does not allow you to go visit, you can definitely kill some time with the games in the reception area. There is a lovely pool, which you can look at the see from. On the side of visiting Greece, we learned about our history as well and the staff made us feel like we were family. The hotel is in a quiet location and the offer shuttle to different attractions. If you don't want to spend too much money, definitely rent a car as you would have to walk long distances to the nearest shop. The closest beach is about 20 minutes far from the hotel. There are so many nice things we could say about this and it still wouldn't be enough to describe our stay. Take at least a day to explore the island, they have many offers. We chose to have a day tour with a private shuttle and have no regrets. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff for going above and beyond to maoe the best of our stay! Highly recommend!

Great hotel about 45mins from Skala beach. Shuttle bus from hotel 4 times daily. Food excellent and staff are lovely! Travelled with Travel One as Solo traveller.
