Hotel Paspalis - Hotel Paspalis

This review is for the Restaurant section of the Hotel as we only went as guests on it and we stayed somewhere else. I think this is one of the best restaurants you can have meals in from Skala. It was the second time we went here (after a break of 2 years, Covid period included) and we were kind of afraid that the quality of food might have changed, but have been very happy to notice it has not. Still great service with nice people that offer you suggestions and are very friendly, prices are good and the view amazing as always – eating while seeing the beautiful green-blue sea. We eat here a couple of times for both lunch and dinner and everything we tried was really good – from the fish variety we tried sardines, octopus, seafood with pasta. Gyros a couple of times and also some vegetarian dishes like Greek salad and humus. I would dare to say this was the place where I ate the best sardines, octopus and humus from the city and also the best well balanced Portokalopita. The restaurant is kids friendly – it has a kids menu as well and I think it allows pets as well. If we choose to visit the city for the 3rd time for sure we will come back to eat here.

We only dined here but the food was great and stress free so we found ourselves coming back several times.

We didn't stay at the hotel but spent many of our evenings having diner in the restaurant while on holiday and enjoyed it everytime. Can not fault at all.

Wave been to Skala several times, we've had a meal at the Paspalis it was very nice, but didn't stay there, we are going in August all booked up.

Went for a meal and found it very disappointing, dishes are not horrible but bulked out with cheap ingredients. My wife's Kefalonian meat pie was all pastry and rice while my lamb stamnos had 3 pieces of meat and 12 pieces of potatoe. I mentioned this when paying the bill and the guy shrugged and took my money, needless to say we didn't tip.

Nice location, rooms are modern, amazing shower. Beds are hard felt like we slept on military cots,woke up with backs hurting. They charge for air conditioner, free breakfast, limited vegan options.

Lovely location with a view of the beach and the sea. The staff were nice and friendly and spoke good English. Pork souvlaki was very tasty as was the meat pie and moussaka. Really enjoyed the fried feta (in honey) to start but glad I shared it! Portions were a nice size and the price was wasn't too expensive. (Didn't stay at the hotel - only ate at the restaurant)
