β β β β β This is not a 4* hotel, unfortunately. Rather a 3* (barely).
The cons: we got a room on the second floor, facing the street. It was extremely loud until early morning...every night. Terrible isolation.
The rooms are in poor conditions: molds and awfully loud VMC in the bathroom, small bed, too humid room, poor wifi and ridiculously bad breakfast.
Not sure how this hotel got 4 stars. It is definitely overpriced.
The pros: practical location in the tourist area of Athens although, not romantic nor peaceful. Very nice staff.
Breakfast room has a beautiful view on the Acropolis.
We would not come back.

β β β β β It seems old-fashioned from the entrance, but rooms are fresh and cosy. The best in this hotel is of course the Acropolis view terrace where the breakfast is served. I think here is the best view in the city. By the way, the breakfast is poor... without even a cooked food as omelette, bacon, etc. But the location and city view covers this disadvantage

β β β β β Great service and very nice staff members. Located in the perfect spot! The high floors (>6) have the Acropolis view and are renovated. The Breakfast located in the highest floor with beautiful views . Food is average and another thing to improve is the water pressure in the bathroom. Overall very good.

β β β β β We have stayed in Astor before. Stil due to covid we didnt go past 2 years. Location is amazing and new updated rooms perfect in all ways (TV coffee maker toothbrush..). Hotel staff kind and helpful especially in reception. Breakfast was simple cold with only basics. Some rooms were bit small but all amenities were there. The view from Acropolis rooms and roof top simply amazing ...

β β β β β Not only is this hotel in the best location possible, right in the middle of plaka but they were also so kind!
Since our flight arrived around 9 am, they let us check in early and even upgraded us to a acropolis view room since it was ready.
Super accommodating, clean and great location!

β β β β β Stayed at the Astor hotel with family for a week. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Central and well linked location. Beautiful Acropolis view with a simple but satisfactory breakfast. Absolutely would go again :)
