Great lamb chops and Cretan salad!!!

Superb food, great wine, wonderful Cretan music, unmatched view of Kum Kapi, descent (for the local standards) internet connection, friendly staff, prompt food delivery, proper table distance (a covid19 measure that is largely neglected in many places).

We visited on a somewhat quiet evening. As vegans, our options were limited to two or three of the appetizers and maybe a salad- or so we thought. We ordered (as was written on the menu) plain grilled mushrooms, fries and tomato balls (traditionally vegan options, what could go wrong?!). What came to us: - a medium serving of fries (which was tasty, can't really go wrong with fries). - a very small serving of grilled mushrooms with a GIANT blob of cheese on top (which was not on the menu) - a smallish portion of harmless looking tomato balls which turned out to be stuffed with cheese (unconventional twist on a traditionally vegan friendly meal- once again, cheese not mentioned on the menu) We returned the mushrooms and asked for what we ordered, which was plain mushrooms. What came back was the same plate of mushrooms, still smeared in the remainder of the cheese that had been there before. The waiter wasn't exactly rude, but I wouldn't call them polite. We returned the mushrooms again and were presented with a half cooked, ungarnished serving in return. Fair enough. We had given up by the time we got our cheesey tomato balls. The price for this disappointing meal was nothing short of ridiculous. We paid way too much. Obviously NOT a vegan friendly place, in fact, not very friendly at all. Of course, our table was never cleared, our water wasn't refilled, there was nothing to justify the overpriced and underwhelming food. Much better places to go to in Chania. I would definitely suggest that they revise their menu. It could be dangerous for people with allergies.

The quality of food is top notch and their prices are so reasonable. My favourite restaurant with a magnificent view of the ocean. Love it ❤️

Decent food, reasonably quick service, and a polite host. Local white wine was great. The standout for us were the 2 colleagues who played instrumental in bouzouki (every thursday ). We had an amazing evening , thanks to the music . So, highly recommended visit for a Thursday evening.

The prices here are like in the old town on the waterfront - above average. The portions are small. The owner tries, but everything is a little slow. This is not to say that it is very clean. The case when the lack of customers is compensated by a high price (
