★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge rooms by European standards. We had a suite with a separate bedroom. The living room had two pull out couch/beds, one double and one single. Small kitchenette. People really nice and eager to please. Breakfast excellent. Excellent air conditioning. Very convenient location. I would stay here again. Only shortcoming is a lack of a swimming pool to cool off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10 stars were possible, Ava boutique hotel would get it. Simply the best. Can't say enough good things. Entire staff are hospitable and go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Perfect location. 1/2 block to Hercules Gate and ( long ) walking distance to Acropolis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home away from home! What an amazing stay at this boutique hotel! This is the best hotel stay experience I've ever had. Super centrally located, in the Plaka village-like neighborhood and a few minutes walk to the Acropolis and Hadrien's gate. I stayed in a standard suite and executive suite and wow! Both are very quiet, spacious, comfortable, well appointed with modern elegant furniture and spotless, well equipped kitchenette and large deluxe bathrooms. The beds are super comfy with white snow, soft linens. Best breakfast I've had in a long time! Ava offers a great choice of fresh cold and warm dishes, croissants, crepes, best coffee and fresh fruits. Last but not least, the amazing staff: Vassia, Marius, Vasiliki. I cannot remember being pampered ever by a hotel staff as I was at this beautiful boutique hotel. Ava staff made my stay in Athens unforgettable! I highly recommend this hotel where I felt like home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traveled with my son and stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the main road with views of the Acropolis and Hadrian's Arch. The room was wonderful, no complaints and the kitchenette was a big help too. The highlight of this hotel (besides its wonderful location and walkability to everything) was the staff *** They are friendly, kind, helpful (before we arrived via email and every time we had a question in Athens) and incredibly hospitable. I only learned the names of Maria and Vassia but everyone we encountered was friendly and kind. I would recommend and stay again. Very clean as well and quiet.
