★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refused to rent a car insulting that I need a printed international driver license. This isn't true as the digital license I have is provided by the same agency and is 100% valid. The agent insisted that what I have is a copy and is thus not valid. If they wanted a print copy, they could have just printed the PDF but refused.
This forced me to scramble to go to a different company who had no issues at all with renting me a car.
Oh and the other place was actually cheaper as well.
This is my 5th rental of a vehicle in Greece. This is the only company that gave me a tough time and wasted two hours of my time.
Edit: Based on your response, you are clearly unaware that perfectly valid IDP can be ordered online. They arrive as a PDF and an app. Which is what I provided to you agent. Who was the first to ever reject it insisting on the printed original.
