Had a fabulous meal and great service in this gem of a restaurant. Set in an beautiful location, perfect for those seeking a secluded dining experience. Made our anniversary very memorable, we will certainly return soon.

Rude waiter, no Covid-19 measures, small portions, half of the items in the menu were not available. The frozen seafood is not mentioned in the catalog as per law. The only positive is the view. Dear Mavronas you’re right: we made the wrong decision to stay eventually as many of your clients found out. Also, since lessons for respect and dignity are for free I suggest you take them.

Served me spoiled Tuna Tartare. Said it was spoiled and they disagreed. Took two bites and they said I had to pay for it. I refused and they called the police. Waited over an hour for police to come. Law is on the side of the Restaurant. I had to have the food tested for spoilage in order to prove it was. The most rude customer service ever. I have been in the restaurant business for 33 years. They also bait and switch you into more expensive wine. They were out of half the items on the menu. They did similar shenanigans to people just two days earlier and called police on them. Trust my professional opinion when I say this place needs to be avoided at all cost. The tartare looked like cat food and tasted like it. To much of a coincidence that there are stray cats everywhere. See Pic!

This was our second time visiting this restaurant and on both occasions the food has been fantastic and the service first class. This evening we enjoyed tempura prawns starter, followed by delicious cod with fresh greens from the garden, all cooked to perfection in a delicious, light and zesty sauce. Highly recommended!

Avlaki is a hidden gem well worth the boat ride! Unlike most other restaurants found on the northeast coast, this place has it all. Its views are beautiful, it’s not overcrowded, the food is outstanding and the service is great. While Adonis caters to your table side needs (wasp prevention too!), his brother and mother are experts in the kitchen. Call ahead, not because it’s too busy, but because you want to make sure he’s got enough fresh seafood for you and has had time to pick the right herbs from his garden. On one lunch occasion, they had a fresh grouper for us and weren’t kidding when they said they can do anything with it. We left it up to the chef and started with fried eggs, roe, then grouper tartare, carpaccio and ceviche (which was heavenly). Then the fillets were prepared in a fricassee and lastly the head was served over a bed of indulgent orzo. It was truly a lunch to remember!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. After reading mixed reviews we were hesitant, but I’m happy we decided to ignore them. It is a beautiful space and the food was one of the best meals we had while in Corfu. The issues that others have experienced are more than likely due to not understanding that we are living in strange times due to covid, staff shortages, food shortages, etc. A little patience and understanding goes a long way nowadays. The waiter couldn’t have been more pleasant and attentive. We did eat at the other restaurant in Avlaki which was also very good and equal quality and atmosphere. We chose to eat here twice and it did not disappoint on either occasion. If we plan to get through this pandemic, we all need to support all small businesses and have a little understanding of how difficult this has been on the service industry especially one that is solely dependent on seasonal tourism. We are all in this together.

Don't believe Google ratings....this is a superb restaurant serving high end food. Quality all the way, and at affordable prices. You need to make a reservation, then sit back and enjoy a leisurely by feast of seafood from the short menu with some delicious wines. One unhappy customer left 2 one star reviews and that has wrecked this restaurants Google ratings ?
