First impressions are a bit uncoordinated, but when you book something, they make it great. We went windsurfing and sailing. Both were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My personal feeling was that they only think about making money on tourists thinking that "they are tourists that we will not see them again".
They were rude and their rents are extremely expensive compared to the prices on the island. For example they asked 18€ for a single-seater kayak and 25€ for a double per hour while in Paleokastritsa I paid only 3€ for the single-seater and 4€ for the double (the beach of Paleokastritsa is much more famous and touristic than the beach of Avlaki!). The same goes for sailing boats: 45€ per hour while on the beach of St. Georges the same boat is rented for 20€!
It is incredible the great difference in price for the same boats during the same summer season (august). Congratulations, this is the best way to make tourists go away.
