★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one tourist trap, the only in Frangokastello. It plays fish by kg price and on the bill they put the price of the most expensive fish instead of the one I ordered. I caught them doing that and then they made up a coverup story on the spot. The other food is ok, but the service is careless and unfriendly. Maybe speaking German could have helped, since almost all other customers that evening were German speaking (like the owners). But that's only a guess. Not coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Babis & Popi resturant on August 2021. Let's start by the fact that it has been the only staff working in a restaurant that has been wearing a Covid mask they way they should! The location is nice as it offers a view to the sea. Dishes are far more than good, they are really great! Everything has been well cooked and tasty, resembilng really good what I had in mind since I am a local. Therefore, i consider this restaurant as a must for everyone visiting Fragkokastello!

Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere and breeze are really nice, the Restaraunt is about 30 meters from the sea.
We ordered a few appetizers and 2 main courses for 3 people, our fish was amazing and the pork belly also.
The service was unbelievable, the waiter was knowledgeable, kind and responsive.
I highly recommend this place to both families and couples. 10/10

Prices are below average and quality and taste are amazing.
I had the rabbit as a daily special and it was simply amazing.
Big variety of desserts as well.
Spending a night in Fragokastelo only for this restaurant is worth it.
Good house wine.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local in a nearby town for serving excellent fish and seafood.
We went there two times and never got disappointed. The waiter, obviously the son of one of the owners, was always friendly and really funny. We loved his humorous and kind way of serving us.
The fresh fish was presented to you before they prepare it. We had grilled grouper, sea bream from the oven, tuna tartare and vegetables stuffed with rice and sea food.
Everything was absolutely delicious and I can especially recommend the grilled fish for you can really taste the notion of smoky flavour form the grill. It combines wonderfully with the tender taste of the fish meat.
If you love fish and you are in the area of Frangokastello you should definitely give it a try.
