We were at Livadi beach here. Great place for kids. Fish to see for snorkeling. Reasonably priced.

Worst food ever! We have absolutely disgusting "all inclusive" I have ever taste in my life. Wine from strange carton boxes, rakia diluted with water, sometimes we have at bar juice or cola, for two days we have no-meat lunch.... Personal don't speak english very well, but they know some polish-czech-russian words. But on the other side, hotel has very beautiful greek architecture....... One more notice - DO NOT EVER RENT THEIR CARS! They are in very bad conditions, we have bad experience with it when we cannot start our car 150km from hotel.

BURGLARS: Seven rooms were robbed at night with people sleeping inside (jewellery, expensive phones, thousands of euro taken) and the hotel tries to hush it up and dissuade us from going to the police. Turns out, few other robberies took place here last week and two weeks ago, but it was hushed up, nobody wa warned and still no security guard in the hotel: the gates wide open all night and nobody at the reception. The hotel continues to charge extra for the keys to safe deposit box in the rooms! LOCATION: The location is at least 5-7 minutes away from the beach, going steep down, and not 50 meters as advertized. ROOM SERVICE: No soap or toiletries in the room. We have to go beg for toilet paper roll at the reception every time. The room is full of canalisation smell. The shower cabin is directly in the room (great privacy when it is a room for three); the toilet door doesn't lock. Stagnant water fills the shower cabin as soon as you turn the shower on. For the first three days of our stay nobody came to clean the room. RATS: The hotel garden is full of rats. FOOD: The all-inclusive buffet is disgusting. We stayed for 10 days and exactly same food choices every day, with food quality getting worse and worse with every passing day. POOL: No water circulation or pumps were ever on in the swimming pool. It was never drained for cleaning either. Pool full of stagnant water, what a damp! RUDE STAFF: The bartender shouted at us when we tried to fill a water bottle at drinking water fountain. We are supposed to buy our own water outside when paying for all-included??? Next day the same bartender yells at one person smoking at the bar terrace, spills over her coffee and takes her things away, supposedly because smoking is forbidden here. No 'no smoking' signs, however, and the bartender herself smokes while tending the bar!!!

I have been here in ‘93 when i was 9. Still have good memories of the hotel. Been thinking of going there with my own kids 30 years later. Yamas!

Nice clean rooms (basic), lovely location overlooking the beach. Simple breakfast with limited items, but no toast making facilities! Good lunch and dinner, but no butter with the bread. Good vegetarian option. AC in rooms but is optional and charge 5 euros per day. No snacks provided in the morning. Cakes provided at tea time in the afternoon. It is adequate for the price you pay. Generally very relaxing and scenic place. Catering is keeping in mind with Eastern European guests. NOT suitable for people with walking difficulties. Staff friendly but standard definitely not 4star.

Crete is the most beautiful place in the world. Amazing nature, tasty food. As for the hotel, in general ok, everything you need is in a room, great food, huge portions are served in a restaurant, nice stuff. But there is no some small details, like a shelf in a shower for putting a bottle of a shower or a bar of soap. But it's not even a big deal. All week long during our vacation we had been smiling ' cause Crete is the best place for a holiday.

A good hotel, the main value of which is its employees. As an experienced hospitality consultant, I can point out that the hotel does not correspond to the "four stars" category, but the friendly team of the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping pleases with hospitality and excellent welcoming skills.

This hotel is good enough for the money you spend. Its location is perfect for those who need a motive for walking. You’ll have a chance to have a 5 minute walk to the beach every day. The hotel is situated on the hill, so it is built in different levels. You’ll need to walk up and down to get to the rooms, the pool, the restaurant and the reception. The rooms are usual, most of them with sea view terraces. It’s an up side of it. The down side of it is that these rooms get some noise from the autoroute that goes by not too far from the hotel. There’s one thing I need to add is that the WiFi is available at the reception only, so it gets somewhat crowded in the evenings. The food is moderate, especially the breakfast. All 7 days of our stay we’ve been served the same sort of things to eat with not a single hint for a variety. The evening meal was much better, with enough variety of fruit, vegetables and meats. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. In general, I’d recommend this hotel for those who don’t want to spend too much money for a fairly comfortable place to stay.
