Talea Beach - Talea Beach

Food is average, but becomes a bit dull after a week (the variation is not so rich). The drinks are local Coca-Cola product copies. The beer is diluted with water in an approx 1-1 ratio. The swimming pool and the garden are wonderful. They are clean, the water temperature is perfect. The swimming pool closes at 6 (which is a bit too early). The sea is very close. There are great excursion opportunities. The rooms are average, they were cleaned ~every 2nd day. The AC and the fridge work perfectly. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff is kind and helpful. It is not worth it to pay extra money for a seaside view, because 1: there are not too many rooms that have a view on the sea, 2: it is likely that you have to whine with the receptionist to get the room (they dont give it to you by default)

If in the first days i thought that this hotel was really great, then after a while my mind changed. + really great location. + food was good + waiters where nice - they say that room cleaning is done 6 times a week, but in first 5 days they cleaned or room only 2 times and it wasn't enough because of beach sand that always was stuck on something. - they should remove all towels from pool chears at the morning, because it is impossible to get a seat there , becouse people just leave they towels over night. - sound isolation- we lived on the road side of the hotel and 20m from our room there was some kind of little chicken farm with few roosters who started to scream at 3:50 every morning and did not stop until 8:00 which was the main reason for rating them with 3 stars. In the first 3 days i would had given rating 5/5, because price and performance seemed to be great.

The only plus in this hotel is the location. Rooms. Rooms were dirty. We had a terrible smell in our room. Shower was ancient. We didn't have a shower stall. We just had a shower curtain and all water had to move out through the small hole in a floor. As a result, you could fall in your own room after taking a shower. Small remark. We booked RENOVATED room. Food and drinks. In general, you have all-inclusive system and you could find some food and alcohol, but ... (Do you know a rule, that you should ignore everything what is going before "BUT". So just do it). Food was terrible. There wasn't any variety during long 7 days. We had to eat the same food each day. I hope they cooked a new one each day. We had only watermelon and some grape from fruits. And you have to fight to get some grape. Alcohol.... Alcohol is a separate story. There was a local beer, red & white local wine, raki and uzo(some local hard drinks). And it's enough for 3 stars hotel. But (yes, I used “but” again :)) You will get your beer in 20 cl glasses ,wine in 10 cl glasses. Maximum you will get 2 glasses for one time. So if you are resting with your wife/ girlfriend/ friend and you want to take some alcohol for you and your partner and you want to be drunk you need to make a lot of steps :) Hard alcohol. Someone from you can think that there is a strong alcohol, and I had to use it, but you can't get a strong alcohol during lunch and dinner time, I don't know why, there wasn't any information about this restriction, but barman just ignored everyone. Also, you would get ANY drinks one hour before lunch/dinner because of cleaning dinner room. And yes bar was located in dinner room. Bar's working hours 10 AM - 10 PM. Please don't forget about pause for cleaning, unavailable hard liquor during lunch/dinner time. Ice creame. Who likes ice creame ? In Tallea Beach only children will get ice creame. Soft drinks. If you like juice from plastic pack — this is perfect hotel for you ! Staff. Staff doesn't speak English/ Polish. Hotel is oriented only for Russian speaker people. All information is only on Russian language. If you don't speak Russian, take my advice, skip this hotel. So let't summarize. It was really terrible vacation. Thank you, Tallea Beach for it. I hope no one, after reading my comment, never come to you.

Never stayed here but ate and drank from the beach. Lovely staff and good food!

Perfect hotel situated right on the beach. Perfect view from room, people in hotel are nice and kind. Delicious food, hope will be back soon! :)

Terrible place. If you can get a room for cheap and you do not really care about food, it's bearable then. The food and drinks are the worst part of this hotel, unrecognizable, formless and tasteless and the same things every day. With all inclusive you have a selection of 8 drinks, those are the absolute worst things I have ever drank, including the coffee. Just go with tap water. I have spoken to at least dozen people here and they all had the exact same opinion.

I will begin with pros of this hotel. It has best position in the whole resort of Bali. You can easily access beach and also pool. Services where quite OK. Rooms were terible. There is also lots of stairs. Overall place is very nice but hotel needs reconstruction.

As pros, I would say that location is nice, just next to the beach. The territory has beautiful nature and there are quite nice taverns around and on the beach. All staff was speaking English and those who served at the bar were very friendly. Unfortunately, the shock I had when I saw the bathroom will stop me returning to this hotel again (a very small shower with musty curtain, and the "renovation" they probably did was over the mold that was about to come out again. The toilet bowl had yellow stains). The room itself is basic, but acceptable. However if you are picky about cleaning details in the bathroom, as I am, think twice if you want to choose this hotel. I have tried to change the room, but they would say everyday that have nothing else available. Moreover, they were resistant in accepting that something was not ok, apparently that's a standard for them.
