The staff were really nice, the location is very close to Balos Beach (calculate 30mins drive + 30 mins hike to get there), great view and functional + clean rooms. Why then only an average rating? We felt that the price-value ratio is unbalanced and you pay a premium for location. We hoped for more "premium-hotel" with fresh orange juice, decent coffee or an open pool bar). Again overall good experience and a recommendation if you're looking for that specific location.
M	Maria Vogiatzi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely clean room with a brilliant view (we were on the 3rd floor). Reception staff were fantastic, they were really kind and helpful. They organised a bus for us to Balos Beach too which was great. The restaurant staff and pool bar was lovely. The only very slight downfall was the cocktails. Unfortunately the person making them didn't have the experience needed. Overall fantastic stay and we will be back ????
R	Ricardo S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay for a few days or even a full week with the familly. The room was big enough for 2 adults and two teenagers and plus there is a small kitchen. Location is very good if you want to go to Balos and staff and management is very helpful.

However, I expected it to be on balos beach directly and I was not aware that you need to rent a car (additional cost around 65 euro for a Jeep car) to go to the beach! I would say the location is the only thing that I didn’t enjoy! Adding to that, the bar is closed early. But overall it is nice.

Close by to Balos lagoon (a must see) and 1 Km to amazing local restaurants showcasing the most delicious Cretan cuisine. Staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. They helped us in every possible way and beyond, rooms are spacious and super cleaned. Swimming pool right by the see. Please ask for a seafront room, for a little extra it is definitely worth the money. We slept with open windows and fell asleep by the sound of the see. We came here in mid June and was not crowded at all although you can tell that the atmosphere is probably very relaxed anyways. 5 stars well deserved!
