The rooms, all of which have balconies, are large and very clean. Located in the old village, there are plenty of tavernas, or if you choose to eat at Basalmico, the food is excellent

The whole stuff makes your stay unforgetable. The rooms are big and very romantic. All rooms have a one fridge, balcony, comfortable bed and tv. Maria and her stuff makes sure your room is clean and tidy all the time. The breakfast is rich and you'll get fresh omlettes or eggs every morning just in time. For dinner you'll get served traditional crete food. Daily different. Meal includes 3 dishes with fabulous dessert. The small bar next to the pool offers you all kind of drinks, cocktails and some good talks. You will always feel like you're around family. In the neighborhood are some very good greek tavernas for a good lunch or dinner. In walking distance are several villages with shops, bars, restaurants. Basically everything you need for a good vacation. If you love to be treated kind and friendly and you like the silence of a romantic hotel, the Balsamico Suites will be your choice for definitly more than one visit.

Maria our host is a hero, she is up first thing every morning to deliver a different traditional Greek breakfast and is the last to leave to wish you a goodnight. The rooms are fantastically equipped with everything you need to a very high and clean standard. At the balsamico they take covid seriously for anyone worried about risks of travelling everyone of the staff wore face covering, measure are in place and the areas are kept exceptionally clean. We was given support with getting ourselves some wheels and visiting attractions. If you need a break and fancy Greece, get yourself checked into Balsamico x

The food downstairs is affordable and very delicious, I wish we would have eaten there more often but the sandwich and salads can be highly recommended! Pool is nice and clean and the hygiene system is perfectly executed for Covid times, everything is basically outside. The rooms were clean, had coffee and everything you wish for, maybe a minor remark would be to have a softer matress, but the pillows are super comfortable so all round comfortable to sleep in! The rooms are gorgeously designed. Go there and meet Maria the owner, a real Greek gem!
H	HA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5* from the heart. Charming location with little number of rooms and guests. We booked our stay with breakfast and dinner. Food was fantastic! Owner and more important host is Maria, very warm and likeable person. Balsamico Suites is perfect for couples who look for a more personal hosting and want to feel comfortable. The old village is just very few metres away with some great restaurants too, downtown is 10 min by taxi but also reachable by bus.
