★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic beach and clean facilities! Slightly higher prices for food, but the sunbeds are very good, for the same price as everywhere else (€7 for two basic sunbeds and an umbrella), but you can also opt for nicer beds for a higher price. The sunbeds are nicely spaced out so you don't feel cramped. There is even a "chair-side" service on the beach and very attentive waiters. It is very safe and the water is amazing, shallow for a while which is great for kids, but then drops off for a great swim.
Host of watersports is available.
Also there's a free transport from several other points on the island (Argassi, Kalamaki) which is well organised. If you're not sure which beach to pick in this part of the island I'd definitely go for Banana Beach over St Nicholas, which I also visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Banana Beach left only good memories, first of all restaurant, you can try seafood, we tasted grilled octopus of extraordinary taste. The staff work very fast, they are friendly and hospitably. The atmosphere of restaurant is very relaxing with lots of greenery and exotic plants. Beach of clean and gold sand, you can rent sunbed, everything in one place, very comfortable. Even you can try watersport, and fill your veins with adrenaline ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Beach with beautiful white sand, different types of sunbeds and a highclass Restaurant / Bar.
The sea is very shallow, the first 2 or 3 meters in water are stony. Also available all kind of watersport activities for fair prices. Our positive surprise was clearly the high quality of food in the restaurant, slightly elevated with nice view on the beach. The food is not necessarely only greek style rather then international cuisine - octopus risotto and chicken burrito accompanied by a nice bottle of Möet Chandon Ice rosé and our day was saved.
Nice chilling background music at the beach (with live DJ) and drink / food service at sunbed. I guess this is the best equiped beach at Zakynthos!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice beach with nice Sand. There are ca. 15 m of Stones when entering the sea but then sandy bottom. Free shaded car parking. Overall nice beach. Not perfect but very nice and wide.
