Οι μεγάλες Παλαιοχριστιανικές Βασιλικές της Νικόπολης (450–600 μ.Χ.) ήταν όλες ξυλόστεγες, έφεραν αψίδα ενισχυμένη εξωτερικά με αντηρίδες, ήταν εφοδιασμένες με λειτουργικά προσκτίσματα και έφεραν εγκάρσιο κλίτος με παστοφόρια.
It is five-aisled and is located within the early Christian walls. It has been partially excavated and preserved by Anastasios Orlandos (1965). (can be visited, next to the road). The great Early Christian Basilicas of Nikopolis (450-600 AD) were all wooden-roofed, had an arch reinforced on the outside with struts, were equipped with liturgical buildings, and had a transverse aisle with pastors.
