★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Roman Odeum of Nikopolis is a remarkable amphitheatre, situated 200 meters west to the Western Gateway of Nikopolis.
It contains around 1,500 sits and it is opened to the public (free entrance).
The only two problems are that it does not have easy access to vehicles and has no parking nearby.
You can drive through the Western Gateway on a narrow path.
The entrance is located on the south side of the constraction.
From the top, you have fanstatic panoramic view over the Ambracian Gulf and the mountains around.
Don't miss a visit in the "Big Theatre" of Nikopolis that is also called The Roman Odeum of Nikopolis, 1.5 km North.
Bottom line - a "must see site" in Preveza Area!!
