Gewürze, Raki, Olivenöl und Weine in toller Qualität und zum guten Preis. Ein Muss, wenn ihr in Rethymnon seid! A great shop. We call the boss our "medicine man" because Raki is medicine. Always super friendly, and always there is a little on the house. Spices, raki, olive oil and wines in great quality and at a good price. A must when you are in Rethymnon!

Ive been going for years and along with other lucky tourists who accidentally walked into Fanis shop, it is as much a part of the Crete experience as the Fortezza and the Rimondi Fountain. Fanis has REAL filoxenion (Greek hospitality). He insists you try his wares and is generous with prices too. He speaks several languages fluently including French and English. You dont want to leave the shop when you discover it! For the best wine in Crete with a perfect sea view and Fanis warm company, make sure you find Bazaar. Try the wines Fanis recommends, pick up traditional sweets for the kids, herbs and teas for your kitchen. Fanis also gives any advice you need with regards Crete and the town. A lovely guy who isnt annoying, or persistent, just good fun and willing to show you the real side (the lovely side) of Greece. Dont miss it!
