Decent location with a gorgeous view. You'll have to walk a few minutes to buy water etc at supermarkets because buying it in the hotel is way overpriced.

Really good location on top of a hill, let's the wind pass through giving a pleasant temperature. Good lunch available and sizeable rooms.

Large rooms, two pools and great view over the mountains and the sea. Also a health walk uphills from the village giving a daily exercise. :-)

Beautiful, quaint and friendly hotel. Visited back in August 2017, weather was brilliant. We managed to get one of the best private pool rooms which had a view of the sea and the peninsulas to the west. Staff are very friendly, the interior of the room is very modern and clean, however we did have issues with the towel rod falling off (which was later fixed promptly by the staff). Room included a kitchen with a small fridge (not a mini fridge) which comes in handy if you’re self catering. Also included are basic utensils such as a small frying pan, a saucepan, an electric stove, cutlery and plates. Keep in mind that the maid doesn’t clean up the dishes as we thought as there was no washing up liquid to clean the dishes with. Room equipped with an AC which needs to be purchased for use at the reception for a fee of €42 per week. Bedroom is nice and big with an open wardrobe, a bureau, two single beds pushed together, lovely fresh linen. As it’s warm, the bed has a thin bed sheet as a blanket, but if it does get cold, there are fleecy blankets in the wardrobe to use. Bath and hand towels are available for free but Make sure you bring a beach towel as they cost something like €2 euros a day. The location of the hotel is astounding, a top a hill which over looks the sea, surrounded by olive groves and pomegranate trees. Being on top of a high hill means you’re able to see unadulterated views of the sun rising in the east and setting in the west behind the mountainous peninsula. The downside is having to walk down 100 something stairs which can be a little tiring in the heat but it’s worth it. The private infinity pool was definitely private unlike the pools in other rooms which are stuck to one another (less private). The pool was often cold but jumping in was a wonderful respite after being in the sun for a while. Many little shops and restaurants in a 8-9 minute walk from the hotel. However most of them are very touristy, but great food nonetheless. Shopping for food and water is a little less worth your money. It’s better to take a bus down to Platanias and shop at the Lidl or the many other Greek supermarkets dotted along the road to Chania. One downside of this hotel was the check out time, which was 12pm for us, but our flight didn’t leave till 1am, and as the hotel did not offer late check out, we only had our rental car and decided to drive around the island to use up time, so plan accordingly!! Overall an amazing hotel, definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The charm of this hotel definitely made the trip to Crete a hundred times better.

Calm, quiet, clean hotel. Perfect for Calm couples looking to relax. Very few kids. Fantastic view, sunny all day. Good food and drinks by the pool bar. The private pools are freezing, but bigger than expected. Not very private though, they are pretty much adjacent to the "private" pool in the next room. Breakfast is good, but very limited. The walk from the City is no problem at all, and there's a super marked right down the stairs. No bathroom door in the rooms, so you have to be rather friendly to share a room. Rooms are equipped with fridge, cutlery, cooking plates and pans.

Peaceful, suprisingly clean, best view of Agia Marina. Breakfast wasn't that good, but other food was delicious. Very friendly and kind staff. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. We had junior suite and I think it looked had much better view of place compare others. So even if you are 1st floor you have great view and balcony was amazing. Cleaning service was top notch, everyday room was clean. ❀️ Sidenote, I don't if we were lucky, but didn't have any children at hotel. Only couples and really quiet ppl. Peaceful. Location was perfect. 5min walk to main road.
