★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αυτή η γέφυρα καθώς και αυτή της Ποσειδωνίας αποτελούν δυο βυθιζόμενες γέφυρες. Όταν περνούν δηλαδή σκάφη από τον Ισθμό, αυτές βυθίζονται. Εξυπηρετούν κυρίως την κίνηση τον ντόπιων αλλά και όσων χρησιμοποιούν τις παλιές οδούς. Υπάρχουν και οι άλλες 2 υπέργειες γέφυρες του Ισθμού παραπλεύρως καθώς και η παλαιότερη του τρένου.
This bridge as well as that of Poseidonia are two sinking bridges. That is, when boats pass through the Isthmus, they sink. They mainly serve the traffic of the locals but also of those who use the old streets. There are the other 2 above-ground bridges of the Isthmus next to it as well as the older one of the train.
