Το bodytone άρχισε να λειτουργεί το 2007 κυρίως ως Studio Pilates και τεχνικών σωματογνωσίας.
Από την αρχή πλαισιώθηκε με πιστοποιημένους εκπαιδευτές (με πλήρη εκπαίδευση 550 ωρών τουλάχιστον) στη μέθοδο και με μεγάλη εμπειρία στη διδασκαλία της κίνησης, ιδιαίτερα του χορού.
