Average and if taken into consideration that it is extremely expensive...then it can easily be characterised as bad. All dishes are extremely heavy. We were expecting at least the meat to be tender and tasty but...on the contrary..we paid 40 euros and the meat was really difficult to chew..the salad with the mushrooms is so heavy that should be shared among 6 people...wine list was the only worth to mention but still..omg all choices sooo expensive...just another mediocre and over rated restaurant in kolonaki.

The BEST meat EVER! Holy Moly!!! Long time I haven’t eat so good! Love the audience, the staff, atmosphere AND THE FOOD!!!!! Definitely coming back!!!!!

Awesome food. Quite pricey (140€/person) but it’s worth it. Try the sliders, the “crust” and the besparmak. Music, lighting, overall ambiance, and service, were all excellent. A rare occurrence in Athens.

A very disappointing meal. The food was okay - but not for the prices charged - and the service was just awful. An arriving we were greeted and seated at our table, and then ignored. Being an early booking there were few diners in the establishment but numerous waiters - most of whom were doing nothing. We finally ordered and were served our wine (priced 60€ yet available in the shops for 13€) and sparkling water (which was then topped up with still water every 10 minutes). The most alarming aspect of the meal was being given the wrong food - someone else’s order. My partner put some fries on the plate with the steak and had already started eating them when the plate was snatched away and replaced with the correct order. I understand mistakes happen but I was appalled that someone would have been given the steak after we had almost eaten it! The dish put in front of me was also taken away and replaced with my intended order. The side was also wrong but not replaced (and the waiter graciously informed us that we would not be charged for this dish). The correct side dish arrived at the table about 10 minutes later. Overall, the meat has far too much salt sprinkled all over it and the prices are extremely high. I don’t mind paying for a good steak once in a while but the cost must also include good service - sadly lacking at this eatery. If you try this place make sure you don’t sit near the entrance where the cold from outdoors can be felt every time the door is opened.

Brutus Tavern is a must visit restaurant! Especially for Meat Cut lovers! Every single plate we ordered had a unique flavor. Amazing wine list, big variety of meat cuts (and so delicious) and wonderful atmosphere to dine! I wish I had more options for deserts , but the special cheesecake was memorable! (pic)

Carefully constructed menu with a nice variety of flavor-bomb dishes. Definitely try the mushroom salad and the sliders as well as a premium meat cut. The staff was really friendly and the open kitchen is a nice addition as it helps to boost the dining experience. Make sure to ask the sommelier to take you through the wine list as it is quite big.

Wonderful place to dine in with nice atmosphere, set up and music. Service was OK, the lady at the entrance super friendly, polite and helpful. Big variety of wines and a very nice options for meat lovers. I gave 4/5 stars because we believe that our chicken wasn't cooked well and when We mentioned that to the waiter gis answer was really unprofessional. Overall a nice addition to Athens restaurant's list
