★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful time here, the beach with the free loungers is very nice and close. Lots of extras, not only tents but mattress and sheets included. Also handy little things like camping stoves for cooking. Nice restaurant too. Showers could use a bit of updating.

So tranquil, I had to extend my stay!
Pure peace! The food was something out of this world (I ate dinner here every night). Great location to base yourself if you want to visit what the western side of the island has to offer. They have a pebble beach, but the water is crystal clear, and the chairs to lay are free, so I spent the whole first day enjoying here (also considering it’s completely free of other tourists!)
Sleeping to the sound of the sea is perfection.
Thanks to the owner, and EVERYONE who works at this camp site, they’re all with a smile on their face and make you feel very welcome!

Located in a beautiful bay, next to the beach.
Safe, clean and well - kept.
Food in the restaurant very good and great "ARC coffee by Dimitris"
Everything is perfect, but most of all,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to stay a few nights and travel around west part of Crete. Good prices, tasty food and helpful staff. Also, there is a beach next to the camping (just across the street)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious and various dishes... They all give you the taste of a traditional Cretan tavern. If characterise the service as "express service" because it was real quick. The portions are quite large and me, personally, I was already full from the starters and couldn't eat all my potion!!! Saganaki cheese is surely a MUST but other dishes worth trying!! It's a great experience especially along with the camping ?❣️❣️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great, very clean, very calm, with very good shadow! Not too many people in June. Super for a family...lots of space.
Very kind, easy going staff, especially friendly at Camp Taverna.
They offer also use of washing machines for 3 eur. There is playground for small children. Everything you need in a camp (mini market not opened jet due low season, but you can get all you need at Taverna) Our only concern were quite a lot of mosquitos:-)...Highly recommend.
