★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto molto tranquillo, anche per famiglie. Bel mare, anche se vicino a 20-30 km ci sono spiagge molto più belle, come Balos, Elafonisi e Falasarna. Vicino a 4 km da Kissamos, cittadina più vivace e turistica.
Very quiet place, even for families. Beautiful sea, although near 20-30 km there are much more beautiful beaches, such as Balos, Elafonisi and Falasarna. Near 4 km from Kissamos, the most lively and tourist town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for a wonderfull week at this lovely family small hotel.
Marinakis family are realy nice people, Stella the mother, who rans the hotel together with Manolis, her son, who is an historion and archiologist, they are never tired to take care and advise about the area, things to do and give visitors a great feeling of a wonderfull vacation.
Nice beach 20 meters fro the hotel, Manolis supplies umbrella and sunbeds, there is also water facilities on beach.
We traveled to Elafonisi, Balos, Falasarna beaches and Stavros beach near Chania where Zorba the Greek was filmed. We also visited beautiful Chania day and night. There are alot of excellent tavernas around and lots of supermarkets, and big ones in the reagional capitol small city of Kissamos.
We had a lovely vacation thanks mainly to our lovely hosts - afcharisto poli !!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastically friendly staff; they have a little museum with replicas of many important objects from around Crete and original coins and notes from history, as well as a bicycle made for two!
The rooms are probably the most home-like ones on the island. Think "log cabin" and you're on the right track. Don't worry amenity lovers, it has AC and even a kitchenette, although I hesitate to call it that because it was really a whole kitchen, minus maybe a dishwasher, and smaller.
Totally worth the price in my humble opinion, and hopefully you'll think so too!
