P	Philipp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Blick von der Dachterrasse auf das Meer hat Fünf Sterne verdient. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des Essens war eher enttäuschend. Zum einen überzeugte die Größe der Portionen nicht, zum anderen wirkten die Speisen nicht wirklich authentisch. Das Knoblauchbrot war eher ein Toastbrot und wurde mit geraspeltem Käse überbacken, der nach dem Abkühlen eine unschöne Masse ergab. Die mit Feta gefüllten Paprika wurden mit Aceto Balsamico Creme übergossen. Die Muscheln in Weißweinsauce waren versalzen. Der Chef wirkte verzweifelt, vermutlich weil alle Menschen an seiner Taverna vorbeigingen und die anderen Lokale besuchten. Zum Abschluss fragte er mich, ob sein Essen gut war. " Ja , es war sehr gut!" , musste ich ihm sagen Schließlich war er bemüht und sehr wertschätzend, dass wir als einzige seine schöne Dachterrasse besuchten. Als Dank bekamen wir einen alkoholfreien Cocktail auf's Haus. Der bestand aus Eiswürfeln und einer Mischung verschiedener Fruchtsaftkonzentrate. Köstlich! The view of the sea from the roof terrace deserves five stars. The value of the meal was rather disappointing. On the one hand, the size of the portions wasn't convincing, on the other hand, the dishes didn't really seem authentic. The garlic bread was more like toast and was baked with grated cheese, which resulted in an ugly mass after cooling. The peppers filled with feta were poured with Aceto Balsamico cream. The mussels in white wine sauce were oversalted. The boss seemed desperate, probably because everyone was walking past his taverna and visiting the other bars. At the end he asked me if his meal was good. " Yes, it was very good!" , I had to tell him Finally, he made an effort and was very appreciative that we were the only ones to visit his beautiful roof terrace. As a thank you we got a non-alcoholic cocktail on the house. It consisted of ice cubes and a mixture of different fruit juice concentrates. Delicious!

You are greeted by the lovely staff who always have a smile on their faces, and then blown away with their beautiful food! We visited 3 times in an 8 day holiday, the roof terrace is such a lovely place to eat Lefteris absolutely makes this place, he is full of charisma and makes everyone laugh with his antics and nothing is too much trouble! Their Pitta, Hummus, Tzatziki and mixed grill were absolutely to die for and we had them multiple times. All the other dishes we tried were perfect too and they cook their meat to absolute perfection. It was our first time in Crete and when we are back this will be the first place we visit! Definitely a must to visit!

Food isn’t expensive and staff are lovely and Teris is full off fun and laughter . . Children are made so welcome . You will definitely eat drink and be merry . If you read this message you have to give a kiss to teris from Debbie please don’t forget .

Popped in to get a beer and ended up having a bite to eat. Teris and his wife made us extremely welcome. Captain Fox’s food was yummy and a really good price. So much so we returned that evening with the rest of our family. Our granddaughter was made very welcome, high chairs are provided. Nothing was too much trouble. Local beer is really nice. Food delicious. Couldn’t fault anything we ate. The atmosphere here is happy! Spent several more nights here and have made a really good friend in Teris. We shall be back!

A wide selection of drinks with local beer being cheap and actually quite delicious! They catered for children too and make an absolute fuss of them. High chairs are available. The restaurant is clean and food served nicely. Teris and his wife looked after us with care and laughter, making a visit here unforgettable. You will have a very happy time here and leave feeling part of the family. ***** is not enough.
