★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful rustic looking tavern on the shores of the island of Poros. Visited during a one day 3 island tour of Idra, Poros & Aigina. This restaurant spoils you with nice seafood, salads, desserts with coffee etc. The list goes on. Highly recommend it if you visit Poros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful evening with local friends. Great choice of delicious food that was enjoyed by adults and children alike. Kleftiko was amazingly tender. Pastichio was divine and the local delicacy dessert was full of flavour and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic experience rather than a tourist trap that you've been encouraged to go to because your tour guide is going to get a cut of the profits. ,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came with the boat to the quai opposite the tavern. The owners were extremely helpful to moor our boat and help us with electricity and water supplies. The dinner was extremely goid and rich, hime-cooked greek recipes and fresh fish. Personal service, very attentive. The neighbouring tavern Oasis was packed with sailors but we don't understand why. We went there the next evening. It could not compare with Caravella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the restaurants in Poros are good, and the menus don't vary too much. This one was similar with most dishes we ordered okay - a nearby table had multiple starters that looked nice. The fish soup was weirdly bad and one to avoid though. Relatively expensive compared with the other dishes, so I was expecting something decent, but what came was half a bowl of watery and greasy, grey bland liquid, with no hint of stock, containing two bits of nondescript fish, a bit of potato and a piece of carrot. It was our last night in Poros so I avoided making a fuss, but this was among the worst food I've eaten, on any continent.
