★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dislike is not right description for something you can't find...I may have encountered the castle, but couldn't be sure. Signage is lacking, either on the historical site or in directions to it.

Do not miss 1739 terrace cafe and APODO a marvelous cultural gift shop, both next to archaeological museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walking the narrow streets of Burgo and Castle very early in the morning, shopping sightseeing, drinking coffee (or even something stronger), eating lunch at restaurants with great seaview or enjoying a cocktail at the adventurous bars are just some reasons to visit this place..!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old castle, not very well preserved. I somehow thought that I would be able to walk on the top of the castle and look down on the village but it was nothing like that. Was not able to go in, just walked on boring alleyways.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth a visit for those young, old and mobility challenged. I'm in a wheelchair and with a bit of process of elimination I managed to find the donkey and cart stair free access. There is also an elevator which then takes you into the castle itself. I highly recommend wandering the streets first though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to visit. There isn't a specific building that is the castle itself, the entire area is the castle so it's fun to wander through the maze of alleyways looking for the "castle". The village is built all around and inside it so it's not immediately obvious to the eye, and this is what makes this place special. I thoroughly enjoyed walking all around it. The Catholic Church is beautiful and so serene. I felt an instant sense of peace as soon as I walked in, almost spine tingling! It's worth sitting in there for a few mins to take in the tranquility and reflect if you're spiritual. You can easily spend an hour at Kastro of Naxos and then walk back down to the town for a nice, cool drink at a cafe to rest you feet and relax!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice walk up to the Kastro, if you can find it ?, with a lovely view at the Harbour and the city centre. Most of all I like wandering around in the old village.
