L	Laurie Howard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The RUDEST staff I have ever encountered in my entire life. The manager was shouting at a pregnant woman and a child of 6. We left there traumatised. Complete tourist trap, avoid at all costs!!!

They phoned us back to confirm at which point we were told we did not have to book for drinks. My husband asked if there was a dress code and was advised yes he should wear long trousers. When we arrived we had to state we had booked for drinks only we did not require dinner. The cocktails were lovely however 95% of men whether having drinks or dinner were wearing shorts and not even dress shorts at that. It leaves a taste we may have thought about dinner but not after standards advised were being adhered to in the evening heat.

Lovely rooftop terrace with an amazing view that gets very busy as a lot of non residents drink and dine there. As for the hotel, I would rate it a 3 star as breakfast is basic, WiFi is slow, water temperature fluctuates when showering, the ageing air conditioning units in the rooms struggle to bring the summer heat down. Although the outside bedroom window shutters work well in reducing the heat and keeping out the strong morning sun, they then block the incredible view over the harbour. This is an old building and although it's clean inside, a lot of modernisation is required. Excellent place to have as a base if you're out sightseeing most of the time, but not really somewhere you'd sit in as there are very few hotel amenities associated with a 4 star hotel. No hotel car park but street parking around is an option.
H	Hannah Chang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I could see how an old historic hotel in a great location would have its charm, but the rooms need revamping- starting with the a/c unit. I can look past the yucky red “covid” carpet in the elevator that looked to be as old as the building (how hard is it to replace that old thing), but I could not sleep because the temp of the room never went below 29 degrees and it was so hot I had to go downstairs at 3am to force the guy to give me a fan- which the man reluctantly gave me only after I was about to pack my bags and leave. I had stayed two nights prior at the Bella Venezia which is just as old but their a/c was working just fine. Prob best view of all of Corfu town on their rooftop, but staff make you wear masks outside? and prohibit you from walking around to snap a pic of the view even if you are a guest and having drinks at the bar which I found strange.

J	Jason Efstathiou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rating only the bar. We had whiskey sours and they tasted like water with whiskey — zero sweetness, definitely no egg. Even after asking about it, it seems they just added a bit more whiskey and that's it. The views were rather nice though, so still two stars.
H	Hugo Ludlam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Cavalieri is an old-style hotel with a big history, much traditional charm and in a perfect location with fabulous views (a rooftop cocktail or dinner is a must). However, if a rain-forest shower, freezing air-conditioning and super-fast WiFi are your top priorities, you might be better off elsewhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would be happy to come back - there are a lot of good things to see and do in Corfu town.
