First of all, I gave the two stars for the sea view I had from my room, but I didn’t like the hotel at all. The furniture is really old, the bath tube is too small for an adult to fit in. Secondly, avoid the breakfast. It is way too basic, nothing special, just eggs and some juice.

Nice hotel but rather dated. No water in the room after the first night. Needs to up its game.

A grande dame hotel of Corfu, tho a bit faded now. Still v comfortable and nice hotel. On the waterfront, with sea views. My room had a spacious balcony with a sea view. Good-sized room. High ceilings. Floor to ceiling windows. Big, modern bathroom, which i appreciated given corfu's aged plumbing system. Helpful, attentive staff.

The staff was really nice Really over priced on food and drinks Bad sleeping experience due to uncomfortable mattress Does not provide water and since the tap water on the island is undrinkable they should have this in mind as an amenity Other four or five star hotels provide complimentary big botes of water

Beware the "non-smoking" info on booking.com- it seems you have to request it if you want to room that does not reek from cigarett - my smell sensitive parents got a room stinking from smoking and since the other room they offered was worse in different ways (too far away from the grandchild they help with), they stayed put in the smelly room. The solution seems now to be to spray extra with a perfumed spray which is not really helping - given that smell sensitivity and allergy is the problem to start with. And the staff woke my parents up at midnight when they came with an anti mosquito plug they thought we wanted since we had left the balcony door open to let in air. A bit odd priority for something not requested. I'm still to see if we get any kind of compensation for having to stay in a room that smells so so terrible. Room and overall interior feels... dated. A flush button which is difficult and loud to press, and - the Ac started leaking water in the bathroom during the night - we woke up thinking it was raining! They fixed if quickly when we reported ut which was good since the water was leaking onto the unpluggable hairdryer it felt bad. Still feels like a problem (and a type of hairdryer) that shouldn't exist. Hard bed, which I was lucky to get a softer mattress to - they had one extra. Unlucky that the staff came just when I was putting my baby to sleep and with an intense energy that woke up my baby for another two hours. And speaking of children, the small children's pool is alright but given 5 stars, some shade or a small portable pool in the shade should presumably be possible, but nope. And overpriced food and seemingly inability to remember allergies. Two days in a row our request to not have paprika on the salad due to allergies has been failed to be met by the staff without as much as an apology or compensation for the additional 20 minutes wait for a salad. And breakfast buffet is alright, but no wow factor at all. Simple fruits, cakes, cold cuts. I want to give the staff a high review but since there has been so many issues and such inconsistency in their way to handle for example allergy and late night additional fixes I can't really. The staff is overall service minded, kind and quick but since there is so much things that are way below what one might expect from any decent hotel, their work is not really enough. If they cut the prices I might recommend it due to its excellent location, but otherwise, I'd advice to stay somewhere else.

The worst hotel in history. Plug sockets hanging out. Staff that has no emotion when answering a question. Probably the WORST breakfast I’ve had in my life. Cold, hardly any options and just no care when serving. Please all, if your reading this. Don’t do it, don’t be like and look at this and think wow 5 stars. It’s awful and it’ll ruin your holiday.

Took an unplanned last minute trip and stayed here and was not expecting much to be honest as never considered Corfu before. I have to say what a delightful place with an absolutely amazing view and location. The staff were so welcoming and I would like to particularly thank Antonia for her help on a day I was not feeling to well on account of my asthma. She made sure that staff went out of their way to make sure I got breakfast. Very very professionally run and hats of to the staff team who made our stay amazing, we will defiantly go back here again, great food. location and staff. Corfu old town is an experience to remember, totally gob smackingly beautiful.
