This review is for the beach area. We arrived on the beach and settled for 3 umbrellas around 10:30 am. The guy who was serving on the beach came to us around 11:00 am and told us that we can’t stay 8 people on three umbrellas. I offered immediately to get another umbrella and pointed out to an empty one, also explaining that he doesn’t need to worry, we will be spending for 4-5 umbrellas even though we were using three, but if the rules are to keep the distance we explained that we have no issues spreading on as many umbrellas as he wanted us to. At this point the conversation got really weird. To paint you the full picture, they didn’t want us to take more umbrellas, but also they didn’t want us to keep three umbrellas. Go figure. All of sudden we were told to leave the area. The only explanation we received from the beach boy was that they needed the umbrellas for the clients in the restaurant. I took a peek, there was no one in the restaurant, all tables were empty. We asked for explanations and everyone was stunned about the beach boy’s reaction. We asked for the manager hoping we will get some clarification. The owner was no better than the beach boy in providing any directions of what they wanted us to do to be “legal”. In the end the owner “made us a favour” and allow us to stay. He continued to explain how expensive is for him to run the beach etc. Still very confused, we ended the the conversation with the owner. We blamed the language barrier and tried to forget it as soon as possible. But it wasn’t finished. The beach boy showed up to pick our orders at 12:30 ( 2 hours after our arrival). I’d like to believe it wasn’t on purpose. I gave it 2 stars because the owner came to talked to us when we asked for him. Otherwise, we experienced one of the poorest customer service.

6 of us with 4 kids came to the beach to enjoy the sun and the water. We took 4 sunbeds with umbrellas and kept ordering drinks all day. We also booked the table for lunch in the restaurant for all of us, so the spend would be very good. Then we wanted to make the order for drinks and then the food, the waiter came with an attitude and wanted us to hurry up, as they were waiting for a group of 40 (which never showed up). We didn't wanted to be hurried, as we were at the vacation, not at the race.  He still kept insisting to take the food order as well, so we agreed at the end. They didn't had half of the things from the menu that we wanted to eat, so we needed more time to choose. Then the argument started and he told us to leave the restaurant and the beach, with the comment that he kept the table for us for half the day!! We went to the restaurant next door and we were glad we did so, as the food was amazing and 20% cheaper, and the staff was so nice and welcoming.

Nice view of beach. Shame nothing else is of same standard. My partner ordered chicken sovlaki which arrived pink raw to which when questioned was told by the manager was just pepper and that there was nothing wrong with it. We showed him more which he then took it away so he could put it on the grill longer. By the time it arrived back I had eaten mine which meant my partner had to eat on her own after watching me eat mine. The food came back rubbery and still uneadible and was unable to eat it. Was our last evening on the island so was looking forward to a nice meal out together but instead watched each other eat and ruined our evening all together. Would avoid if you don't fancy food poisoning.

One of the best grilled Octupus i've ever had and all the other food was very good. Very friendly!

Wonderful restaurant with a good choice of all food, starters, main course and desserts. The waitresses are very frendly and polite and helpfull. The food is superb very filling with plenty of flavour and taste all served with s smile.

Pretty good food (not the best i had on Golden Beach but still rich and tasty enough) a bit small table and not too confortable seats pretty good service a four star overall is fair since i had five's elsewhere. Nice music and atmosphere with a great wiew

We had a very good experience at the beach area, the staff is very friendly and always happy to help. The setting is very nice and the sunbeds are kept very clean and tidy. We had lunch several times at the restaurant, the food was very tasty and the service very efficient and polite.

can’t fault it! beds on the beach drinks served on the beach. excellent menu food/drinks in the taverna good staff ?(George working the beds deserves a mention ??
