★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beach and sea at Tassos Island. Entrance is free but you've to pay for the sunbeds and umbrellas. It's around 8 km from the Old Harbour of the island. But the road is very winding and it's dangerous to drive more than 40-50 kmh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In order to get two sunbeds and an umbrella, you have to spend at least 6 euros on drinks from the bar. Any drink is 3 euro. The sunbeds are not of great quality but they do the job. Nice view from the beach and we had no problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First beach tried in Thassos. Due to their policy and to barman (a woman) I will never come back here. How much are the beach chairs? 6 euro with umbrella included. Ok. I said. Then I received from the guys from the beach a 6 euro voucher for the bar. Very nice I thought. After one hour I went to the bar to buy 2 non alcoholic cocktails. I took more money with me.. The woman from Golden beach bar (the fatter one) tried to prepare me 2 non alcoholic cocktails after old recipe maybe (half of the glass ice and rest...). I told her that I do not want much ice, which I think she did not like it. After she put 2 limes in each glass, half red bull, tonic water and a bit of pomegranate gel, she asked me 10 euro for 2 glasses!! So, beside that voucher I paid 4 euro more for a 3rd choice cocktail.. I was expecting to put some fruits juice (orange, raspberry - I even specified this) but they did not hear me.... no more comment!
