Cavo D'Oro - Parikia

Great placement near the water but the quality of the stuff sadly is very low, 2 nights in a row they refused my group (4 people) to have some drinks and deserts because we didn’t want to have dinner at them. The 3rd night at 9 pm they didn’t serve any cocktails. 5 stars for the pizzas which are amazing!

Nice that it’s right on the beach, unfortunate the service is so disorderly and strange you can hardly order or get your check. Not even for a beer. Food is moderate-low quality: for example, my pasta sauce had balanced flavor but the shrimp were not good nor were all of them cleaned so I got to crunch on some sand and fish guts off them. Que sera sera.

Delightful Gluten Free Meal on Beach in Paros Cavo D'Oro is a great option for Coeliacs looking to eat locally in Parikia. Serving traditional fare, the restaurant has Gluten Free options - mainly from the grill with salads or vegetables also available. The staff are friendly and read my Coeliac information card closely. After a few clarifying questions I was offered options for the meal. For starter, I selected the Grilled Octopus - which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. For mains, I selected the Lamb Chops from the Grill - which came with a tasty Mediteranean Salad. The wine list was extensive including both local and international wines. A delicious local gluten free option for Coeliacs on the beach in Parikia.

The food here was delicious!!!!! There was ao much choice on the menu but the pizzas looked too good to resist (and they were) the waiter was so friendly and smiley he was new to the job but he understood the menu pretty well! Its in a great location directly next to the sea so you get some beautiful views! The prices were moderate. Easy walk from the port of parikia! 10/10 reccomend

We decided to eat there because of the beautiful view and because the food on the menu seemed appetizing, but we regret our choise due to the very slow service. We sat down at the table and start to look at the staff to get their attention to get the menu...basically starying at them unsuccesful for about 10 minutes since we sat down They were avoiding any visual contact and seemed to be running away from us. We though, "if the waiter doesn't come in 2 minutes, we will leave" and suddenly the waiter arrived with 2 menu. The waiting for that was already a bad signal. We ordered one pizza, 2 drinks in bottles and a pork gyros. The drinks took already ages to arrive, then arrived the pizza and after not less than 20 minutes, arrived the pork gyros..basically when I almost finished to eat the pizza. We were supposed to have a romantic dinner but we ended up eating at different time because the pizza was getting cold and there was no sign of the gyros. People around were suffering the same issue as we saw and hear most of the customers there complaing about the extremely slow service and the fact that they had to ask multiple time for the same thing. Also, we saw a waiter wondering around with a drink that he didn't know who ordered, going through all the tables looking at people waiting for someone to say "that's my drink". With that you could realize the lack of comunication between all the staff. They need more comunication to run the business properly and improve the service because in fairness the food was good.

Pizza was great and the waiter is very friendly! I didn't eat here every night of my 5 day stay on Paros, but I would almost every day come by and have a quick chat with the waiter (who happens to speek Greek, English, Dutch and German). Good quality and affordable prices!

Amazing seaside dinner with a sunset view!! The drinks are very averagely priced and the staff was nice. The real winners were the amazing seafood salad(!!!!) and the pizzas were great as well we really enjoyed the Cabo D’Oro. I also can’t have dairy and the waiter was very kind about confirming which items had/didn’t have dairy+was able to accommodate not putting cheese on half of the pizza. Would totally recommend for a reasonably priced sunset meal.
