W	Weihrauch88 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well Cavo Liakas, 3 times over the last 3 years I have visited here and you excel every time. Family run restaurant 1988 and it really does show. Such care and attention to detail and you can really see the family work exceptionally well together. They greet you with a smile and their attitude towards customers is superb. Brilliant choice of traditional Greek and modern style dishes, cold and hot starters and mains and a lovely pudding selection. Lovely clean and stereotypical Greek decor with all home grown Lemon Geranium, dill and much more in the garden. Nice clean toilets. This is the star of the island for me having visited Kefalonia 4 times now I do highly recommend the visit. But be sure to book in advance during busy summer periods for it is EXCEPTIONALLY busy!

If you want to eat fats is not the place for you, food fakes a while to come as is cooked fresh, get some wine and enjoy the evening. I have ever seen such smiling people and they make you feel just like home. GOOD FOOD and local wine !! Ps you need to book a table to make sure you get a seat out side.

We stayed nearby (circa 15 minute walk) and came here a number of times over the holiday as the best place within walking distance to give the designated driver a break. Cold beer in ice cold glasses, great Aperol spritz, good value house wine white and red. Lots of tasty traditional dishes (souvlaki, Kefalonian meat pie, Moussaka) on offer alongside other classics - great pizza, pasta, etc. If you are in the area I highly recommend Cavo Liakas.

We did have to wait a while to eat as we were part of a large group but the family team were thoroughly hospitable and the company I was in was great. A really enjoyable evening x

The dough for the meat pie is fresh, crisp, the filling is delicious and delicious. The baklava filo dough is thin, the walnuts and sugar syrup are really delicious, we are happy to cook for the chef!
