Best Restaurant in Greece

H	Hendrik Beenker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a tourist this is a fun place to watch the more upscale locals entertain themselves. Not your typical Rethymnon restaurant and bar. The view on the old city and the bay is fantastic. The food was ok and best shared with a group since the portions are quite large. The prices are higher than other places around, however still enjoyed myself with a nice cocktail, good food, good views and actually really nice music from a dj (not too loud either).

It is situated by the cliffs ,you can see the sea while you are having your dinner , the cocktails are really nice ? the service is quick ,the staff are amazing and very helpful,the girl at the reception even called a taxi for us. This is great hospitality, this is a beautiful place that feels an island? on its own . The decor is amazing , and the music ? is not too loud so you can have quality time while enjoying the atmosphere

The service was extremely inattentive and disinterested and all the more surprising as there were very few people there on both nights (ie we thought we would return as perhaps it had just been an off evening). Maybe this is because it's the end of the season. The esperesso martinis were just fabulous.

Our fish ‘catch of the day red snapper’ was €70 (for 2). Fish well prepared, but only served with ordinary carrots, cucumber and potatoes. And again, very nice setup, a little Ibiza-style on Crete.

Special requests during booking were completely ignored by staff. The food was great, service had good timing. Be sure to try one of their signature cocktails, "Breezy Day".
N	Natalie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here on my last night in Crete, unfortunately the service was terrible and ruined what would have been a lovely dining experience. We spoke with two unenthusiastic employees before we found the hostess to seat us, our waiter was no better and very abrupt. We were informed only the sea urchin dish was unavailable but when my friend ordered the lamb shanks it turned out that wasn’t available either. Our mains were brought out while our dirty starter plates were still on the table and we had to ask for them to be cleared. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after our food, and we weren’t able to order more as there was no one around to take the order. We requested to pay separately by card which the waiter initially did not want to do (this was never a problem in any other place!) Such a disappointment as the food was actually delicious and the venue nice, but I would not go back there.
