With all the things to do and see in Athens and its surroundings, we didn't really spend much time in the room anyway. And for exploring Athens and the region, this hotel is really well located. Public transport, lots of restaurants, cafes and shops and several important sight seeing sites are in walking distance. Also, the room was very clean and, breakfast buffet was quite good and the staff was very friendly and service-oriented. The rooftop bar and restaurant can be recommended, too. The food and wine were quite good, including vegetarian options and ofcourse, the view is just spectacular.

Great view of the acropolis on their restaurant terrace, however their food is more expensive than the average restaurant in Athens.
D	Doug Das on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a solo traveler on a fast-paced trip, Central Hotel was perfectly located within walking distance of the Acropolis, other museums/sites, and plenty of good food spots. There are room options to see the Acropolis from your window, which was great. The front desk staff (24 hrs/day) were good and offered help for places to visit, eat and shop. The breakfast was phenomenal (the scrambled eggs with tomato and feta, and the fresh pastries). Hotel is a short walk from the Syntagma metro station, so it is very easy to get to from the Airport! I would stay here again.

Rooms were clean and well serviced. Very good breakfast and a rooftop bar/restaurant with a views of the Acropolis Great location with walking distance to all the main sites and shopping.
