This was a beautiful hotel in an excellent location--walking distance to many sights. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, very updated, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Great variety of very tasty food. The food service staff were also very friendly and helpful. We couldn't have been happier with our stay here.

One of the best choices out there for a hotel in Athens. A well organised, customer oriented 3 stars hotel that fullfils (and in some areas surpasses) every guest's expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I like this hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Quiet comfortable rooms. You can get tea coffee facilities in your room if you ask.

5 + star for the dedicated, kind staff; as well as the location and the safety of the area. ? 3 star for the breakfast, no buffet, very poor menu and really bad coffee. 2 star : noise. The windows are not soundproof; it’s very hard to sleep at night Note: also would be nice if there were slippers in the room, not too difficult.

Absolutely fantastic experience and great value for the price. Great location in an area that was easy to get to from the airport (metro and taxi) and also walk to all local attractions. The hotel was clean and well organized. The breakfast provided was fantastic for a continental breakfast with an assortment of bread, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit, a fresh salad bar, eggs, breakfast meats and greek pastries! If you are leaving earlier than breakfast is served they provide a packed breakfast with a sandwich, fruit, sweat bread/cake, a granola bar and juice! This was perfect for the morning we left early to get to the airport. The room was small but very clean and well organized and the air-conditioning is perfect on the hot Athens days. Above all else the staff were AMAZING! almost every member of staff has great English skills (much better than my understanding of Greek) and the front desk staff went above and beyond our expectations. We were so lucky to be able to check in early (obviously not always an option based on room availability) and when we were planning to leave the young woman at the front desk looked up bus, metro and taxi options for our travel and booked the taxi for us. The staff were so friendly and genuinely kind that they were the best part of our stay. We would return to the Amazon Hotel in a heartbeat!
