Wir sind einfach nur begeistert. Wunderschöne Villa mit einem absolut schönen Ausblick. Sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Wir würden die Villa jedem weiter empfehlen. Haben absolut nichts auszusetzen. Die Familie ist sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Excellent and amazing service

The location is perfect. Sunshine is visible from the balcony-roof. The breakfast was excellent and various. The owner is very kind and helpful. im sure i will suggest the villa to everyone!! Thank you?

Wonderful location in Pyrgos old town ... far away from crowded caldera. Chtrisanti is really really polite end every morning provide your wonderful breakfast. We'll be back. the house is an authentic traditional house of the island (excellent renew).

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the Chrisanthi Villa, it truly was the highlight of our time in Greece. Alex helped us schedule a transfer upon arrival by the ferry. It was one of the smartest decisions we made given the port was chaotic and packed due to construction. After we arrived in Pyrgos he had also arranged to have a donkey carry our luggage to the Villa. Not only was this charming but it was a back saver given the Villa requires a significant ascent up the hill. This is important to note if you are traveling with anyone with limited mobility. Upon arrival Alex walked us through dining options, rental car options, boat tours, etc. He was happy to book anything we needed or find out additional information. One of the most magical parts of our stay was the delicious breakfast prepared by Chrisanthi and her daughter. Every morning was a feast with PLENTY of different options to choose from including stuffed Greek pastries, eggs, fresh fruits from their garden, fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh coffee, etc. It was the highlight of every morning. If you're looking for a peaceful respite from the excitement of exploring Santorini then staying in Pyrgos at the Villa is the place for you. Unlike the city centers of the island, Pyrgos has little traffic and less tourist volume. This made for a very peaceful stay. Given the Villa used to be a wine-making cave it's perfectly dark and quiet within. I had some of the best sleep of my life there! Another major highlight of the Villa is a balcony within the courtyard that allowed for perfect sightlines of the volcano and famous sunsets. No need to fight the crowds of Oia to get breathtaking views of the sunset when you can enjoy them in the serenity of your own private balcony. There were plenty of delicious restaurants in Pyrgos. Definitely go to Rosemary, the friendly staff there provided the best meals of our trip! Johnnie Cafe was our favorite spot for coffee in the early morning before breakfast. My wife and I enjoyed hiking around Pyrgos in the still of the morning with espressos in hand. Definitely hike up to the castle if you're interested! That's the best spot to see the sunrise. I can't recommend staying at Chrisanthi Villa enough. Alex and his family are truly gracious hosts and will make your trip to Santorini all the more amazing!

Our family had an AMAZING stay at Villa Chrisanthi! Not only was the home itself clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, but the views of the sunset on the balcony were breathtaking. Alex and his family were gems, helping us with our transfers, bags, and advice on the area. The breakfasts are legendary, prepared by Alex's mother and served family style every morning. Pyrgos is also a lovely place to stay- much quieter and less tourist-filled than other towns on the island. I truly hope to stay again!
