★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could I would give this place 6 stars! This is the place to try authentic Crete cuisine (away from tourist area). Ordered lamb in the oven for the first time and salad +dip for the second time- all dishes tasted great. The waiters are so attentive and give you desert and raki on the house. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all this place is about good food, cooked traditionaly wih flavor and taste.
Then the serving is right, pretty fast and in the end you get raki and desert on the house. I had mousaka which was good, then traditional bread cooked in the house, olive oil, greek salad.
Location not by the sea, but very close to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The house white wine was absolutely horrible, we did not even drink it. Tasted like dish water.
The bread was excellent, i must give them that (that they charge you even if they're the one bringing jt on the table without ordering it).
'Fried cheese' appetizer comes with literally just cheese, nothing to dip/eat with.
Table was sticky from the begining.
Had to ask three times for water.
Food was okay, definitely not a 4.5 restaurant tho.
Paid 14 euros for this....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just off the harbour, where there are many tourist trap restaurants, you can find this quality little place. We ordered a selection of small dishes - smoked pork, vine leaves, stuffed tomato and pepper, mushrooms, tzatziki and bread/olives. I could talk about each dish, they were all excellent. However special praise for the mushrooms - choice of 3 ways (fried, grilled or cooked in white wine) so we asked the waiter, who said he preferred grilled. Wow... absolutely beautiful in texture and flavour. I also had a glass of the '3 klimata Karavitakis' red wine - an excellent accompaniment. Also friendly service, with a complimentary desert - very tasty light pastry bites (a bit like donut) with honey. Overall - having been very disappointed by another restaurant on the sea front - this was a really great find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very typical crean Taverna, food is quite nice but greasy, not recommended for fish, but mostly meat. The moussaka was very nice and the grilled cheese, overall however was quite overpriced for this style of restaurant. You can find better options for a lower price

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious stifado! Delicious greek salad! Delicious tzatziki! And our absolute favorite, homemade sourdough bread. Great service! We absolutely loved it. Thank you, and please stay as you are. We'll be back, we live only 1km away :-) efharisto poli!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 100% recommended! The beef and lamp meat are very well made, juicy enough. The ΝΤΑΚΟΣ are light and refreshing, our most favorable dish, baked cracking bread as based with fresh chopped tomato and mizithra cheese on top. The second photo is their house dessert, very lovely ?
