Π	Πέτρος Αθανασάκος on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Παπ΄ Αγγελής (1884-1969) Η παρουσία της ωραίας αυτής μορφής, του παπ' Αγγελή που οι μολπές της ουράνιας φωνής του, όταν έβγαινε στην Ιερή Πύλη της Άγια Βαρβάρας των Π.Μπουλαριών μας μάγευε την ακοή. 'Ηταν εφημέριος της ενορίας των Άνω Μπουλαριών μα η δικαιοδοσία του έφτανε στην Κίττα, στους Κάτω Μπουλαριούς, στο Λιμένι, στο Δίπορο, στα Μουντανίστικα. Τον λέγανε Νικόλα Αγγελή. Είχε κι ένα βοηθό ο παπ΄ Αγγελής στην τέλεση των καθηκόντων του. Κι αυτός ήταν μια τεράστια καμπάνα που για να τοποθετηθεί στο καμπαναριό καταβλήθηκαν τόσοι κόποι. Με λαχτάρα προσμέναμε στην Κίττα τον ερχομό του παπ΄ Αγγελή, τη νύχτα της Ανάστασης που το φτάσιμο της θα μας έσωζε από τη νηστεία που με τόση ευλάβεια τηρείται στα χωριά της Μέσα Μάνης γιατί σκλάβοι των πατρογονικών εθίμων, νόμιζαν, πως θάχαναν τον Παράδεισο, αν τύχαινε κι΄ αρτεύονταν. Οι ώρες περνούσαν μα ο παπ΄ Αγγελής δε φαινόταν. "Μυστήριο" σκεφτόντουσαν όλοι. Τι άραγε να συμβαίνει; Δώδεκα. Όλοι προσμένουν με λαχτάρα. Μα άδικα προσμένουν . Μη τάχα και δε θέλησε ο Ιησούς να αναστηθή; Περίλυποι οι κάτοικοι της Κίττας, των Καλλονιών, του Αγίου Ιωσήφ, της Γαρδενίτσας και της Νόμιας άρχισαν να διαλύονται. Παίρνουν σκυφτοί κι αμίλητοι το δρόμο για τα σπίτια τους με τις λαμπάδες τους σβηστές. Δε σήκωσαν Ανάσταση. Την άλλη μέρα μαθεύτηκε το νέο. Διαδόθηκε η αφορμή που μπόδισε τον παπ Αγγελή να πάει στην Κίττα για την Ανάσταση. Τώπε ο ίδιος στην ίδια την παπαδιά του και στους άλλους χωριανούς του. Το σκοτάδι είχε απλωθεί, διηγήθηκε ο παπ Αγγελής, όταν άφησε τους Άνω Μπουλαριούς και κίνησε για την Κίττα. Ερημιά βασίλευε παντού. Μόνος βάδιζε ο παπ Αγγελής ώρα, ώσπου έφτασε στη "Γραμματική" έτσι λένε το κοιμητήρι της Κίττας, γιατί άλλος δρόμος δεν υπήρχε. Του φαινόταν μία λάμψη να σκεπάζει το κοιμητήρι και τα γύρω περβόλια, ενώ στην ακοή του έφταναν φωνές,σα αναστάσιμο ψάλσιμο, σα μελωδίες. Βάδισε λίγο ακόμα ώσπου ξαφνικά φάνηκε μπροστά του η "Γραμματική". Τότε ένας κρύος ιδρώτας άρχισε να περιλούει το κορμί του. Τα δόντια του άρχισαν να χτυπάνε απ τις κρυάδες που τον πιάσανε.. Ήταν τρομαχτικό το θέαμα που είδε. Ένα πλήθος ανθρώπων με αναμένα κεριά είχανε κατακλύσει το κοιμητήρι κι έψελαν το "Χριστός Ανέστη". Γνώρισε πολλούς ο παπ Αγγελής, πολλούς, που ο ίδιος, είχε παληότερα κηδέψει. Τους είδε να σχηματίζουν μια φάλαγγα και να παίρνουνε το δρόμο προς τα έξω, να βγαίνουν απ τη μεγάλη πόρτα της "Γραμματικής" και να κινούνε για την Κίττα. Ο παπ Αγγελής δεν θυμόταν ούτε το πώς βρήκε το κουράγιο να φύγη τρέχοντας από κει και να γυρίση στο χωριό του, για να πέση μισοπεθαμένος στο κρεβάτι του... χωρίς τη χρονιά εκείνη να σηκώση την Ανάσταση στα χωριά της επικράτειάς του. Ώρες έκανε να συνέλθη και σαν συνήλθε, ιστόρησε στην παπαδιά του και στους χωριανούς του, πούχαν γιομίσει ταρχοντικό του, τα όσα είδε και έζησε στο Κιττιάτικο κοιμητήρι... ζητώντας συγγνώμη απ τους ενορίτες του και συχώρεσι απ΄τον Χριστό, που δεν ετέλεσε την Ανάστασί του.... Topi himself in his own papacy and in his other villagers. The darkness had spread, said Pope Angelis, when he left Ano Boulariou and headed for Kita. Wilderness reigned everywhere. Pope Angelis walked alone until he reached "Grammar" so they say the Kita cemetery, because there was no other way. It seemed to him a glow to cover the cemetery and the surrounding pavilions, while voices, like resurrected chanting, melodies, were heard. He walked a little further until "Grammar" suddenly appeared in front of him. Then a cold sweat started rolling over his body. His teeth started beating from the cold that caught him. It was a scary sight. A crowd of people with lit candles had flooded the cemetery and chanted "Christ Risen". Many knew Pope Angelis, many of whom he himself had previously guarded. He saw them forming a phalanx and taking the road out, coming out of the big door of "Grammar" and moving on to Kita. Pope Angelis did not even remember how he found the courage to flee from there and return to his village to fall asleep in his bed ... until that year he raised the Resurrection in the villages of his territory. Hours he had convened, and as usual, he told his pope and his peasants, who had become his chieftain, what he had seen and lived in the Kitti cemetery ... apologizing to his parishioners and joining in with Christ, who did not fulfill His resurrection .... And sadly, it also seems to have been abandoned and left locked, so there's no opportunity to have a look inside. There are several churches in the area of historical interest, so it is worth having a wander around - a little further up the road is a small Byzantine church though that, too, was locked when we visited.
