★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best kebap souvlaki I had while being in Athens. The pork skewer is also fantastic. And the Tzatziki is super nice and fresh (and comes with the skewer). Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chontro Alati is definitely the most popular souvlaki restaurant of both areas of Neo Psychiko and Ellinoroson. It's not cheap per se as they suggest here in Google Maps. Pita's price is above average...nowadays average price of the pita is about 2.20 - 2.50 Euros, and I bought a pita with gyro chicken for 2.70. Yet it deserved the money. Not small sized, clean and I really liked their fries. I also liked the store's decoration with the long glass tubes with salt and pepper.
And last but not least...I liked the woman working as a cashier here (during Thursday afternoon), I shall admit.
