I did two dives with Coral Diving Center, one of them being at the famous Messerschmitt plane wreck. Costas is a great instructor, puts always safety first and makes everyone feel comfortable and confident with the dives. The dive center takes all precautions against COVID-19. Can’t wait to visit the island again and make more dives with them!

I had the very good fortune to spend a couple of days diving with Costas at the Coral Dive Centre. This centre is run as a husband and wife team. Theodora is as charming as she is efficient, and takes care of everyone when we are out of the water. I made contact via email before my arrival in Crete so pretty much had my plans confirmed before my first day. They offer a pick up and drop off service. So day one I was picked up 0840hrs and after another pick up we were off to the dive centre. This was close by. Only 15 minutes by car. On arrival all the usual paperwork was taken care of swiftly in whatever language suited your needs. I had brought all my own equipment with me so only needed tanks and weights. I still managed to assess the equipment being used by the others. I can say honestly. All of it was top quality gear as you would expect to find at a dive centre. Tanks by choice of size and shape as well as fittings. Even the suits looked to be in good condition. This is not always the case as any travelled diver would know. Costas himself is as good a divemaster as I have ever met but is also one of the most personable too. If I was learning to dive all over again. I would want him as my teacher. Kind, patient, and thorough. I was fortunate. All our group were of a high experience level and we all got along well. This too always makes life easier. The dive planning, and briefing were meticulous without being boring, or going off point. Safety was always the 1st consideration and maybe slightly over cautious. But hey! No one ever died from having too much air left in the tank at the end of a dive.. The diving itself was great fun and a little challenging at times. Visability was over 12m on the worst and over 15m at the best. The reef dives were very relaxing and a great way to blow out the old cobwebs at approx 12m. The Messerschmidt BF109 was my favourite and at 28m was a little challenging as we had to swim a little against the current. Bit once on wreck that was all forgotten. You could still make out the 20mm cannon and machine guns. Even some live ammo kicking around. Costas piloted the boat and dropped anchor on sites unmarked by bouys without GPS. He knows the sea and his sites. Led us on all 4 dives as well as teaching an advanced course at the same time. Then got us all back onto the boat and to shore. If you are coming to Crete and want to dive, as a beginner or as a hardened old salt these are the guys to trust. Friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy and SAFETY conscious. I wish I could stay and dive more. Maybe I'll be back. But most likely not. The world is now such a small big place. Thanks you both for a great two days. All the best for the future.

Dived here during my Kreta stay. Very warm and friendly staff. Our dive master was super experienced and I felt every time pretty safe. If you wanna dive on Kreta you should definitely choose this guy's!

Very professional diving center, the great team around Costas and Theodora made my girlfriend and I very comfortable diving. I would recommend anyone who wants to see the Messerschmitt wreck to join Costas and his team! For non divers, check out the discovery dives at this center, my gf had a safe and exciting experience. It was an absolute pleasure to dive with Coral Diving while staying in Crete for a week. Kostas and Theodora with the help of Nicolas deliver everything you can ask for for a dive centre for both experienced divers and beginners. Looking forward to diving with them as soon as possible.

This dive center is really great to learn diving. My daughter got the advance padi. George and Kostas gave a great teaching. The briefing are clear and with details.The équipement is new. The visibility is more than 20m.
