Fabulous stay at Mitsis Laguna. Accommodation very clean and comfortable and excellent housekeeping. Food options very good and staff very helpful and friendly especially in dining room and pool cafe. Spa excellent but shame sauna/steam room not working. Lots to see and do if needed nearby and car hire very easy. Would come again in summer season for sure

It was the best vacation I have been to! All the staff are very kind, nice and helpful! The value for money is simply phenomenal! The hotel has an atmosphere of real freedom! Even when I checked out, I had free access to all the attractions, meals and restaurants! Every day I received a different gift for the room, whether it was a bottle of champagne, fruit, desserts and gifts for the return flight! I will definitely be back here soon, and will recommend this hotel to all my friends! Thanks for everything?

The best staff and the most beautiful hotel! 3 days of pure pleasure❤️ Very good food in the main dining room. But we wouldn’t recommend the hotel’s restaurants - although service was on high level but the food just not good enough (we visited Italian one and Asian for a brunch)

Our issues are mainly about the design of the services and how they are delivered to guests. This is an all inclusive resort where you don’t pay for food or drinks. This shouldn’t mean that below par culinary experience is delivered. The breakfast buffet is among the worst we’ve ever experienced. Low quality ingredients, extremely slow service and below average varieties. In the a-la-carte cuisines restaurant, guests are allowed one reservation per day even if they don’t want to go to any of the buffets. Furthermore, guests are allowed one reservation per week in one of 5 cuisine themes. That might not be a big deal, if the resort was more transparent about it. During our late March 4-nights stay, we had one dinner at the fish themed cuisine and one lunch at the Italian themed cuisine restaurant. The fish dishes were extremely overcooked, the pizza dough was not made properly and they didn’t use risotto rice in the risotto. One hour after the Italian themed lunch (which was the first meal of our day) both myself and my wife had an acute stomach ache followed by diarrhea. Other smaller issues are present, like the up-keep of the facilities that are becoming outdated and rusting, the below average gym, the bungalow doors that don’t prevent wind from blowing dust and debris inside the rooms and their struggle to keep up with guest requests during popular hours. The good people working in the resort and the lovely people of Crete with all its glory and natural beauty will definitely change these gripes to the best very soon.

Just got back from a lovely week away. Hotel is so good we only left once! Staff excellent ?, rooms a great size with good views, food mixed Italian the best, followed by fish and Chetan. Main restaurant mainly good with lots of choice. Fab pool with music all day. When we wanted quiet we jumped onto the beach ⛱ across the road which has stunning views. Would definitely recommend ?

After a beautiful stay at Laguna resort I would I like to highlight some points. The property is breathtaking and the rooms in excellent condition. Many facilities to keep you occupied. But the best thing of all was the staff, so attentive and kind especially the team in the main restaurant! Always happy and ready to assist you. Thank you so much, hope to see you soon.

Definitely not 5 star quality. This "hotel" received 2 stars because MOST of the staff were extremely nice (especially the ladies at the concierge desk, the waiters in the "specialty restaurants, and the head waiter). These staff members (as well as almost all staff we encountered) made this place feel like 5 stars among the other unpleasant experiences. In contrast, Anita, the front desk clerk was not professional. She reflects poorly on the hotel brand and should not be the first face customers experience when entering the hotel. We specifically requested a room with a full view of the ocean, and the only option she gave us was the main building room 148. This is the one room with a building in front of it (partially blocking the sea view). We did not have reservations, so I could understand her doing this for a packed hotel. But, the hotel was relatively empty because it had just opened 2 days prior to us arriving (and it is not peak season yet). When we requested a different room we were told by Anita that room 148 was our only option. To add insult to injury, we found a ROACH IN OUR ROOM, I had to wear shower shoes in the shower because it was not clean, and the beaches are TOTALLY UNUSABLE!! Never have I EVER had these experiences at a "5 star resort." Again, most of the staff were amazing. But the negatives of this "hotel" overshadowed the positives.
