I wanted to buy a bus ride from Thessaloniki to Sofia.
The times on their website where wrong
I couldn't purchase online. They asked me to email my credit card number to them.
Which I declined to do. I went down to their office and bought what I thought was a ticket in person.
When I arrived at the Bulgarian travel office where the bus departs I discovered that I did not have a reservation. I paid Crazy Holidays but they never actually made my reservation.
I assertively asked a young guy at the office to figure something out, he made some calls and got me a seat on the bus somehow.
Don't buy from these guys! They are just middlemen and will screw you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They write "luxury buses" in their website. These "luxury buses" don't even have a toilet inside for a 10h ride! And the driver only did two bathroom stops for the whole 10h trip! Apart from that, these "luxury buses" don't even have sockets on the seats. They only provide you with a single small 5-socket power strip for everybody which is placed on the middle of the bus. Nevertheless, the driver was ok and we arrived a bit earlier than expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would not recommend if you don't speak Greek as at no point in the whole journey were we told what was going on. At the Turkish border we had no idea what was going on. Also 1st 6 hours of trip from Athens was in a mini van not a bus with wifi etc like we were expecting. Plus the driver and guide smoke cigarettes the whole 14 hour trip which wasn't the best. But they did get us to Istanbul safe so will give them credit for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You ride with them to Thessaloniki when you buy tickets from Kamil Koc. It was a smooth ride to Istanbul and back. The staff is especially very nice and helpful and they are great at working out things at the border. ıt is a bit hard to find their location in Thessaloniki. Even the taxi driver did not know the place.
