Cretan Dream Royal Hotel - Stalos

This place is really nice! The staff is helpful, and kind! The food is delicious, especially the dinner! I really recommend this place to everyone!

I have stayed a total of 60 days at this hotel, and without a doubt I can say that it is the BEST hotel in all of Crete. The location is amazing and beautiful, right on the water with amazing sunsets and views all day long. Only about a 10 min drive into Chania, and really convenient with the bus stop on the main road. The pool area is a fantastic place to lay out during the day and tan, with amazing service for food and drinks brought right to you. The poolside bartender, Manolis, makes the best pina coladas that I have ever had, and his mixology skills are unmatched. The restaurant has some amazing food choices. Every once and a while they will have food specials for the night, made by the head chef, George, and they are all AMAZING. Anastasia, one of the waitresses is very nice and helps out a lot when you aren't sure what to order. The sommelier, Manolis, is very knowledgable about wine and will always chose a good wine to pair with any meal. The manager Peter treated me and all other guests like family. He will go out of his way to make sure you have an amazing stay at his hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and I can't wait to come back to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cretan dream royal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Rooms in the main hotel a little dated but comfortable. Restaurant a la carte food was a bit salty but otherwise good. Extensive wine list ??

We stayed at this hotel during Easter week. There is couple of things to improve, such as noticing customers when serving the tables, as we and another couple were left out few times and during the feast we already finished our meals when we got service, big thank you to the person acknowledging us and doing so, he should have a raise since managing all the staff and taking care of customers so professionally and with pleasure. Another improvement is having meal tags on the breakfast table. Since this was lacking majority of guests had to go through every dish to see what is under the hood, warming. Also this took a lot of time from the staff to answer customers’ questions regarding food. To me this is an efficiency and communication improvement opportunity. Otherwise the staff is the sweetest, kindest and most welcoming I have ever meet in my life. They definitely made the experience of Crete unforgettable. Big thank you for that, and do recommend staying at this hotel 100 %.

This hotel is the perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy some great food. Lose your troubles in the infinity pool or try out the range of treatments at the spa. The staff are wonderfully kind and friendly, the sandy beach is across the road and there's enough to explore nearby even on a short break.

My Fiancé and I stayed at this stunning hotel for 10days; it’s in a great location, 10min taxi away from Chania old town and you have Stalos beach at your feet. There is a large pool (which isn't overcrowded) with a stunning view of the sea / islands in the distance. We had breakfast included which we looked forward to every morning. So much fresh, local, and organic foods to choose from. For example, fresh raw honey (with honey comb on display to tuck into) every morning, straight from the hotel manager Petros' beehives that he keeps on site! The olive oil used is also fresh from his own personal olive trees. There’s a mini market in the hotel where you can buy local produce (I picked up loads of raw honey). The gym facilities there are really good and modern too if you’re a gym rat like me! The dinner served here is top notch quality too, with some amazing views if you sit outdoors. To top it all off, the friendly staff at the hotel treat you like family and it's a pleasure to be around such nice people. I have been to many beautiful countries and luxury hotels, however my stay at Cretan Dream Royal has topped all of them for so many reasons, this will definitely not be our last stay here. Honestly, if you're looking for somewhere amazing to stay in Crete, you won't regret it.

Myself and my husband stayed at Cretan Dream last October for 2 weeks on the recommendation of friends . They were 100% correct!! Staying at Cretan Dream is truly an amazing experience. Firstly the cleanliness was just perfection. Every corner was dust free inside and out! The food was excellent. Breakfast had a nice array of dishes from eggs, bacon, pasta, pastries, cheese, cold meats and a lot more to choose from. It was low season but by no means did the food reflected it.We had dinner 4 times during our stay and was a delightful experience (we never had lunch due to fabulous breakfast) The pool area and outdoor bar is in a class of its own. Every single member of staff (without exception)were a delight to meet every day. Friendly ,helpful ,chatty staff of all ages were a wonderful asset to this magnificent resort in the quiet area of Stalos.( Stalos has plenty of lovely cafes bars and restaurants within walking distance) To the owner Peter...a pure gentleman who works extremely hard ALL day to ensure his guests are looked after at all times. . Peter has hand picked his wonderful staff in order to provide top class service for your stay.. Oh did I mention it was very reasonable prices too. Well done to Peter and all the team.

The absolute best experience I have had in the Greece! The staff is superb and treat you like family and make you feel so welcomed. The food is amazing! I will most definitely be returning again. The hotel amenities are terrific and there is always something to do. Cannot wait until I get to go back!
