Best Italian restaurant in Greece

P	Pierre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not look any further if you decide to eat out in Monemvasia. Da Sabatino is where it is at. You can’t go wrong with anything that is on the menu, you can tell that the chef takes pride in his work. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and really helpful. I highly recommend it.

In my plate I found a big piece of plastic, the staff explained how the plastic went into my plate and just apologized. They offered the dessert because I order it. By checking the prices and the mistake my plate should be offered and not the dessert. In general the menu is adapted to local tastes and not so Italian as advertised.

I don’t know where to begin- from the wonderful friendly service that made us feel like home, or some of the most delicious dishes we have tasted! It’s a place you MUST visit! We had the octopus carpaccio, flambé prawns, spaghetti with lobster, salad overflowing with parmigiano and tiramisu- everything was DELICIOUS! We absolutely loved it. Prices were also more than fair! We will keep coming back! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The service was excellent, warm and welcoming. When I commented on the tasty herb tea, the owner gave me a whole bunch of dried herbs collected in the mountains! So generous and kind.

We had a vegetable gratin dish and a four cheese pasta that were both amazing (so good that we forgot to take a picture before we started eating!) The whole experience from food to service was 10/10 ❤️
